I support 100% catch and release and that’s what I do all the time because I also get to fish mostly pressured waters. However, in a wild environment like that during the trip I would have probably ate one. I think that would be a really enjoyable experience too, cooked on the wood fire.

Why how does aluminium remove air bubbles
@MagnusLindhardt
@MagnusLindhardt 3 ай бұрын
aluminum foil is a bit uneven and not smooth, which means that air bubbles are smoothed out. Try it and see for yourself.

You say it's not your formula, clearly it is not as you've lifted it in every single detail from another channel! You acknowledge that you're using someone else's formula, why don't you at least give credit to the guys at Troutbitten (who have a ton of related info on their website). ? I don't usually comment on videos but this kind of plagiarism really pisses me off
@MagnusLindhardt
@MagnusLindhardt 6 ай бұрын
Hello! For sure I can name them but this video is more about how I should learn about the system and try it out. I had a plan for upcoming video to say if I liked it or not and if I don’t like it I don’t want to blame any one for a formula and what they like to do when they fly fish. That’s not my purpose for my videos. But you right I will name them in my content. Have a lovely day.

Much better with a CDC wing anyday! Ive read Bob Wyatts book and agree with his ideas on flyfishing, but not on his views about CDC.
@MagnusLindhardt
@MagnusLindhardt 8 ай бұрын
Most important is that we tie them as we want them. I have had no problem with deer hair and to be honest don’t use a lot of CDC in my flies. Thanks for input.

great explaination of the mono rig Magnus. After watching Troutbitten I have said that I will try this (instead of the more common 'French leader') that we normally use. I cannot believe how well you explain this in a second language! Thanks for the video. Tight Lines my friend.

I m on Lysekil, and i never was fishing on this place,i have some questions if you can help on it: 1.What ar the good lures to catch sea trot 2.How to identify the spot (deep or shallow water) with algae or stone? 3.what is the perfect time to catch,morning or late on night...Or is all time... Thanks!
@MagnusLindhardt
@MagnusLindhardt Жыл бұрын
Hello! Thanks for questions. I just fish with flies but do a search on internet or KZbin and you find fishermen fishing with lures. For spring and autumn they go shallow so don’t need to go deep. They are closer to shore than you think. Sea trout can be everywhere so hunt them from shore to shore. If they are in one place one day they can be at different spot the day after. Don’t stand to long at one spot move around . That’s my best tip.

If you dont find the spine first. How can you properly put the handle and reel seat on?
@MagnusLindhardt

Hello! To find the spine on bottom piece where reel seat is sitting is usually impossible. To stiff to spine. If you want to spine do it on the pieces you can. I usually don’t spine mine any longer. Just random.

Subcribed Hi Magnus what is the sea temprature for fishing seatrout on fly
@MagnusLindhardt
@MagnusLindhardt Жыл бұрын
Hi Gudjon! I would say I fish for sea trout mars-may and sept-October. But you can fish it even in summer and winter where I use to fish. Summer sea trout go deeper. You live I Iceland? Then I do know in north of Norway the fish may/June for sea trout. The most important thing about sea trout is that they move around a lot. So you need to drive along the coast and find them. Next day they can be at some other location.

@@MagnusLindhardt Well right now I'm waiting for the delivery of my 4wt packlight rod and reel combo. So for the next rod I'm trying to decide between building the 686 fastglass, 888 fastglass or the 890c. I've got a 6wt Cortland rod that I've been using for over 30 years and still works great so I think I'm leaning more towards an 8wt I can use for bass and pike.
