Hi, since I have the steam option I haven’t use the pressure cook function . You can try small batch with the pressure cook function but the whistle is on vent for 10 to 15 minutes. Hope that helps

You can skip it. Poha helps in having soft idlis and also usually when making idli or dosai from the batter at the base of the container its texture is not the same. When using this flat rice flakes or Poha it doesn’t change the texture or the taste. Hope it helps
