Great Video as always! Make sure you are working with a metronome, as this is something i struggle at even after playing for 6+ years. Also I have been posting some drum stuff on my KZbin channel and will most likely be switching to mainly that stuff!
@AKADonBrewer6 ай бұрын
Thank you my friend. It's crazy you can record a video of a song or a solo and it sounds perfectly fine until you listen to the playback LOL. Sometimes I get so tired, well yeah you're absolutely right I need to work more with my metronome. I've been juggling my music, setting up my new wood shop, and everyday life of course. It's a lot of work a lot of physical work. I have to be careful because my equipment is in the music room which is in the back of my woodshop LOL. I've got to finish building a solid wall with a very tight sealed door and good ventilation to keep the dust out. Normally I keep my Electronics covered if I'm doing any woodworking. It's crazy but it's fun. You take care and thank you for paying attention and for your nice comments

@WildMonkCreations. I'm working on one that I consider extremely difficult and I've been working on it for probably 3 weeks off and on. I'll break down and get a new printer one day so I can print out the sheet music. On the other hand I mostly played by ear most of my life. I think it will be another week or two before I can actually perfect the song. I live alone I have no one to help me with technical issues or sound issues ETC. But I was pretty proud of hard to handle by The Black Crowes I recorded recently. The song I'm working on is probably five times harder LOL. Thanks again and take care

I don't consider myself a great drummer but I've spent a lot of hours playing drums over the years. I just started over about a year ago and I'm working really hard to try to avoid mistakes and to keep time and Etc. If you really got the desire to play the drums and have friends with drums just try it again and don't try to play anything fancy starting out, if you can keep a Beat playing on the hi-hat snare drum and bass drum just a basic simple beat then you're a drummer. Of course buying a set of drums is costly I know. I've had several different sets throughout my life and this said I've had for about 10 years or so and it was already beaten up and abused lol then I had to put it in storage but got it back out about a year ago and started practicing. Anyway if you got the drive and determination and you can keep a Beat you can be a drummer my friend
@AKADonBrewer7 ай бұрын
Exactly
@AKADonBrewer6 ай бұрын
If you have the means to rent a set of drums or to buy a cheap set, there are many videos on KZbin teaching you how to play the drums. As a matter of fact, I'm thinking of doing one love you today for beginners on how to get started playing the drums and how to determine if you are truly a drummer. Keep in mind that not all drummers are the same. There are those who play very soft and slow music and those who play hard rock and everything in between. I played almost everything, but I'm better at the rock music. But I played in the gospel band for a number of years and we have a gospel album, my brothers and myself and about half of the songs are slow easy playing gospel songs. Just let me know if you are interested and I'll try to notify you, and as danktsunami said, it's never too late.

I was going to explain it. But I wanted to keep the video short. When I bought the double bass pedal he came with two of those stickers and I put one on the bass drum then I thought maybe the other one would have dampen the snare LOL. That was a mistake I tried to peel it off and it feels off the coating. I need a new head I wish I had one for the video. But thank you so much for your kind words that makes me feel so much better. @robertgoodman3257. I am still struggling with my comment response to yours, and I have been feeling really bad about it, not your comment but my response. That's what I want, my friend. I want 100% honest and sincere feedback from you and my other friends. There's no excuse for what I said to you. Because yes I did suffer brain damage from the lightning strike and the other electrical encounter. And I'm not normally so sensitive, I promise. I had just been going through so many challenges with everything breaking down in my music room, and even my truck my old truck LOL. And I had joined some drumming community on Facebook and I react to the same way to their constructive criticism and had to go back and apologize to them as well. You made a very sincere, honest comment which actually help me to understand better while I'm having so many struggles right now. So kudos to you. I cannot apologize enough. And I'm so sorry that I hurt you and that was not my intention. I hurt my own self after seeing your feedback knowing that I could say something like that to a good person and for no good reason and I realize now you were simply offering a comment which helps explain my struggles as a drummer, and I owe you a big thank you, and my appreciation for you goes Way Beyond what you could imagine.
