I put a GoPro style mount at the end of my carbon stick and use a 3d printed case of thingiverse to hold the Go3 🤙🏼

do you always ride goofy ? or : why not put the battery on the back so you can switch your feet ?

Why switch feet if goofy? No wing or sail where you need to improve tack.

Always goofy 😜 I'm trying to minimize the swing weight and keep the battery as close to the front wing as possible. With the battery in the back I imagine it would be more difficult to lay on the board 🤙🏼

@webstken when riding along and pumping it is more relaxing to switch feet like it is relaxing to ride switch for a while with a snowboard.

It’s an Amundsen custom from Oahu, 4’10x19 37liter. It works great for the FD, flat bottom gets planing easily 🤙🏼

Being on O’ahu, the 5.1 seems ideal. These are the typical conditions we see. I figured I should learn on this and then get a 4 when the wind is up.

Looks so unstable compared to the new Ensis Parawing. The ears seems to collapse and flutter. The Ensis stays loaded it seems.

I could be wrong, but the current shape of inflatable wings seems low/mid aspect. I always wondered why there wasn’t any high aspect wings. The strut seems like it could could be blocking so much air from hitting the wing and smoothly exiting.

Hey JD, watching your videos got me to try wingfoiling after almost two years of waiting. Unfortunately I dislocated my shoulder on the first lesson 😭, do you think parawing would be a better alternative for me? Or maybe kitefoiling or downwinding? Thanks, love your videos!

I think kitefoiling would be better on the shoulder then parawinging but the easiest on the shoulder would be a FoilDrive. With the FD you can ride waves, do downwinders (or upwind first) and even do some flat water pumping. Just a thought 🤙🏼

Yes you can! This is the older FoilDrive with the battery on top of the board while the newest version is installed between the mast and the board with nothing on top of the board 🤙🏼

@@WolfFoilParosGreece I get almost an hour of nonstop foiling, at this spot you can get 2+ minute on a wave gliding and then using the motor to foil back out and repeat 🤙🏼
