Thanks Paul, the case is a Yamashita EGI STOCKER. They are no longer available but Shimano and Daiwa have very similar ones at the moment. 👍

I think the answer is Yamashita products are designed in Japan, but like nearly everything these days, production cost is cheaper in China

Yes it helps to use a stronger line with the big baits, mostly for shock resistance on poor casts etc

Hi, the neon bright colours are UV reaction colours. They will not react unless they receive UV light. They wont react at night because of this. However Neon Bright Red would be my recommendation if I had to choose.
