Mine stopped with 300mg of B-1 daily. Hardly no one talks about the role of thiamine (b1) and the our autonomic system which controls/regulates heartbeat and breathing among many other things. Also impacts snoring and sleep apnea. I bet some of you with palpitations have sleep apnea. Try B1!

Why do we want a qR pattern in V1? What does that mean electrically?

So what do you think brings on your palpitations?

Mines caffeine. Or stress. But lately I've not had any caffeine or been stressed but still going into SVT bad at least once a month. I'm on medication until I have my ablation at the end of January 2025. 😢

I'm 47. I've had SVT episodes in 2020, 2021, 2022 and very recently this year. The pulse rate reaches 200. I had a thyroidectomy in 2003 and ever since I've been on thyroxine, levels keep on changing and earlier doctors believed the palpitations were due to the disturbed thyroxine levels. But this time the episode lasted 30 minutes and was worse than ever. The doctors diagnosed with SVT and put me on the Iva tab ( ivabradine) 2.5mg twice a day. It's the third day and I feel inactive and low all the time.

@mrmja50 2 weeks ago Ive had SVT for over 6 years, after a few visits to the ER and IV's and adenosine once. I learned to convert myself with in minutes of an SVT episode. I stop what Im doing, and its usually pickleball where im already excited and my heart is higher anyways. I go lay down on my back with my legs up on something so they are higher than my head, and bent at the knee. I cross my arms on my chest and closes my eyes and think of a calm place and just breath slowly in through my nose and out my mouth very calmly. I always convert using this with in 5 minutes. Then I go back to playing or what ever I was doing. No more vagel stuff which always kept me to excited and anxious. Maybe it will work for you?

One of* the best vids I've listened to on this. I had a SVT in 2007 then again in 2022 2023 and twice so far in 2024. I went to get a second opionion and was told I was born with this. I was appalled and still not sure if I believe that.

My mom’s family is French Canadian. Her sister was born with a fatal heart defect in the early 1940’s. She died at age 12. My niece had to have heart surgery as an infant. She has other mysterious health issues health professionals can’t seem to figure out. Four the past four generations, women in our family have had genetic urinary malocclusion. Some of us have had genetic testing but we don’t have any conclusive answers for what is going on. Like most French Canadians, marriage to another French Canadian Catholic was very important in previous generations. I hope over time genetic defects in French Canadians can be identified and treated. It’s so heart breaking to have young family members that are dealing with such serious health issues (myself included). I would love to get some answers.

Very helpful information,I’m pleased he mentioned the stress associated with SVT,I wasn’t diagnosed for many years and thought I was a bit crazy,I was having so many attacks and just waited it out,some went on for a few hours,very exhausting and scary.Finally had one at the hospital,they took notice then and did the relevant tests. Reassuring to know it wasn’t all in my head and caused by menopause!!

I am recommended by the doctor to get a pacemaker. I have a third degree heart block. Should I have a left bundled or should I go for the traditional pacemaker ? Can’t decide between the two.
@tehflexiina36244 ай бұрын
Traditional pacemaker can cause heart failure in some cases left bundle pacing is more natural to the heart conduction system which is kids safer

I have an ICD due to a problem with a viral infection many years ago. My new car has keyless entry and ignition, on reading the Owner’s Manual almost the first sentence is if you have an ICD do not use this car. However, my Cardiac Electrophysiologist / Cardiologist advised me to keep at least 35 cm away from the sensor/transmitters (doors & centre console). So far no problem.

Ideally where should the hub be pointing for proper septal placement? The video looks like it’s pointing at the 9 o’clock position which makes no sense since that would orient the tip of the catheter towards the patients feet while in the RV.
