Great video. Still have a question. Does the daikin controller still need to be wired to the unit or can it be removed when the third party thermostat is intergraded? I thought I read that the Diakin controller would need to still be wired to the unit but switched to sub?

Schedule still runs when I have schedule off. At 6AM, the temp drops to what is in the schedule (that I can’t delete), even though schedule is set to off.

Why would you put into forced fan? You could just put into recovery mode and look for green lights on stats. Especially if you have a job where indoor units aren’t visible.

Are you able to successfully connect this to Google home? I connect it but the only available control is fan speed. İt connects to Alexa and more functions are available but something wrong about google home integration.

Great video. Thank you for posting. In Tridium, is there a way to setup the ITM BACnet server to broadcast fan coil points as points and not devices? This way the controls contractor only need 1 tridium device license from the Daikin ITM (not # of fan coil = # of tridium device license required). Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have a Madoka controller installed for a FBA ducted unit. My question is: Madoka menu shows heat, temperature, and ventilation icons. I had to install Madoka assitant + setting bluetooth to can switch to cool menu. There is a way to have all icons on Madoka display by itself ? Thanks

I'm in a new building with 145 small units that need to be controlled 24/7. Temperatures are going into the 40's at night and up to 60 during the day. We have 20 master controllers throughout the building. Of course one side of the building gets hot in the morning and in the other side gets hot. I want all thermostats to respond to the temperature in the room and maintain a 70-72 degree temp. If I set up the schedule on each master with one scheduled setting of say, 7am, On, cool to 70, heat to 72, will all of the navs connected to the masters follow that schedule? Or do I have to set all of the navs to that same schedule? If I have to set all of them, do I have to set the masters first or does it matter? Thank you!

Hello, I got 2 indoor units. fxsq125a2veb, fxdq40a3veb. 2 came with brc4c151 and 2 with madoka. I can install DKN cloud wifi adaptor on fxdq40 and control two thermostats remotely? The second unit is split unit, can I still use another DKN wifi controller for it? Do i connect it to wall or indoor unit? As of now it's supper annoying, I want remote controller and everything I tried with BT fails miserably with these two madoka thermostats that I have. Other two units at least came with outdated remotes.

So for the high voltage on indoor units if i have only one breaker how i power the rest of the indoor units? Daysi chain too? Im installing a 4 head vrv and i was going to run independent line for each into a secondary panel with 4 15amp breaker

Can we just make the ITM to be a view only option. I know there’s a Master/Slave switch on the itm. If I do this, would it just eliminate auto from the ITM. I think it just make sense to allow the BRC to do the Auto feature and show the differential at the BrC. I understand using the settings but the end user always ends up changing them regardless.

After i did the rewiring and plugged all terminals, when i start the unit it show PJ alarm on the remote diaplay. When i check for the PJ error code It is for 'Faulty field setting after replacing main pc board' Can you please support me on how to configure the new board or can you share me a service manual for the configuration procedure, i couldn't find a right service manual for my specific model on the daikin official website. Hi Dana. I saw your daikin VRV self test clip and I have the following question: I worked today on my home daikin VRV unit to reset an E3 fault (was due to power outage) and then started a test run which I did not complete (took too long and actually is not really needed as I did reset the E3 fault). Now all units are working fine but I have U3 displayed on the indoor units. What would be the easiest and quickest way to eliminate the U3 ? Will total reset (20 sec) do the trick? If not - I understand that there is a "quick test" mode which takes much less time than the 30-45 minute full test - what is the sequence to activate this "quick test" mode, and will that be sufficient to eliminate the U3?
