A tip to anyone struggling is to "stay forward", or lean forward a lot. This will help you maintain balance and get you used to the motion.

You show interesting concepts, but! You execute moves on the flat foot. Whole footwork must be on the toes. Imho, ofcoz
@PieChienTeddieАй бұрын
Hi, if you watch closely some of the steps i did with toes but there are few step in this footwork that need to combine with flat foot. I do agree most of the footwork should execute with toes. Its a good habit to have but we should not limit ourselves when comes to breaking 😊
@djam7484Ай бұрын
thats like saying you should not do footwork flat handed. lol
@PieChienTeddieАй бұрын
@@djam7484another example, when we do footwork, best habit is use upper palm of our hand. But theres a lot famous bboy did footwork with flat palm one of them is Bboy Lilou. So just find the best way for you to execute your move
@brian129128 күн бұрын
@djam7484 my dude, footwork can be done using FLAT or KNUCKLES. I seen and trained with some dope dancers who use both...

Finally, new video! Good to see you're still around and congrats to your new second child! This video motivates me to get back into practicing. I'm still a newb. I'm trying to go from Floor footwork -> Basic Coin Drop -> Basic Freeze. Would you have any tips on practicing the Basic Coin Drop without hurting your shoulder? Thanks!
@PieChienTeddieАй бұрын
The main key here is have a solid foundation on each move before try to piece them up together. Tips on coindrop is the flow. Make sure to learn with hand as guide before trying out with no hand coin drop (can watch my video tutorial) Another useful tips is to wear more shirt. Usually when i start practice new moves that got to do with body drop such as coindrop or windmill, i like to wear minimal 2 tshirts. You can even combine with jackets. Trust me, you feel way less painful when you do the drop.
@BoxpeoplezАй бұрын
@@PieChienTeddie Wow! Thanks! I was thinking of wearing a jacket as well or I'll try with 2 x shirts. Thanks for the tips! I'll check your other video. Cheers!
