I was using Batocera v40 Koriki then moved to stock when they dropped that sweet Saturn support, but eventually gave that up for what I am using currently which is Knulli. I love having preview videos of my games and I can even view the game manuals on some of the games too. On your Batocera, you can swap the A and B buttons to perform how we're used to. Going off memory, I believe you go into developer options and somewhere in there is a thing where you can swap the cancel button so your A selects your menu choice and B cancels. On Knulli it is automatically set correctly. You picked up a great device. Hope you get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

Loved the video. The next few sections are very cinematic. They are setting the tone for the rest of the game and you are crap at everything The training will come in time. Once the prologue is finished the world opens up for you to explore/play. One word of encouragement. You are CRAP at everything. The way to improve is by doing, but you will fail a lot until you start getting better at whatever you are trying to do. Some people find that irritating, but it is very rewarding once you start getting things done. I have played for over 3k hours and I am still finding little details and options I have never seen before. It is the best game ever! Hope you enjoy it!

Hiya, great video! - For GBA, in KNULLI (and by extension Batocera/Koriki) by default it does a BIOS check before launching systems, and if your BIOS don't completely match the version they are looking for, you will get an error. Many GBA emulators don't even need BIOS in the first place, but some others do -- you can tell that the BIOS is properly loaded when you get the GBA splash screen when first starting up a game. Same thing with GB/GBC BIOS, those are not necessary but will give you the splash screen. Either way, to disable that warning press START when in the KNULLI interface, then go to Game Settings > BIOS Settings and there is an option you can disable, called "check BIOS files before running a game". With that turned off you won't see that error anymore, but just bear in mind that if you try and launch a game and you don't have BIOS you will just get booted back to the main menu. - For PS1, you are likely using a file type that is not recognized by KNULLI. My guess is that you are using BIN files, which need a corresponding CUE file to run properly. I recommend CHD files because they are compressed, and PBP files for multi-disc games because they are also compressed into a single file. Here is my guide on file types, that explains CHD and PBP files in more detail. retrogamecorps.com/2023/02/06/the-ultimate-rom-file-compression-guide/ Hope that helps! Here is my full guide for the device as well: retrogamecorps.com/2024/06/07/anbernic-rg35xx-family-starter-guide/

I got you brotha! So I’ve heard that like Mario and Pokémon games usually don’t come on them, but mine came with a few Pokémon games not a lot so I guess each model can vary! But it’s not hard to add and delete games off of the original sd card.

Dude if you want hassle free don't buy from anbernic. Get one from a 3rd party like litnxt or an ebay seller. Not many people mention this in reviews. You can game on the stock anbernic OS but the rom selection is usually pretty bad. Some 3rd parties offer rom selections, litnxt has different os options making adding roms just copy and paste mostly.

I mean depends A lot of the more recent ones like sword and shield are much easier and require a lot less grinding than the earlier ones but the earlier ones are generally better otherwise with some exceptions What I definitely do not recommend starting with though is the TCG the rules are completely different, the cards can be expensive, participating in tournaments can be expensive and you also have to find a group to play with which can be really hard depending on where you are And I say this as a Pokemon Professor I _LOVE_ the Pokemon TCG my job is literally to run and judge tournaments and I cannot recommend the game enough But if you're just starting to get into Pokemon the TCG is definitely not where you should start
