Hi. The factory lowered (like the one on the video) version is far to low for you but the standard will be ok.

Picked me up an 86 last night, I runs very well, going to need a carb rebuild kit, all new hoses,new timing belts, new tires, new stereo system, gas tank flush, new coolant, but she will run like new once I am all done.

Been watching lots of your videos. Your bikes keep getting bigger and bigger. I have a 2017F700GS and a 2007ST1300A. Do you like your Goldwing more than your Pan European? Why the change?

Hi, thank you for watching. At the moment I have a 2014 BMW 1200 GS. I don´t have the Goldwing anymore neither the BMW 700 GS. I sold the ST1300 because it was to heavy, it is a great bike though and I really enjoyed it. The F 700 GS was the lowered version and was not great with two up because of the lowered suspension, great bike too. I have not put many km on my 1200 GS but I already can see it is a great bike and till now better that all three bikes mentioned earlier.

man my wing used to sound as a sport bike, but since i cleaned the carbs my bike sound as yours. is that how the engine must sound?. look at that kzbin.infoIsYDAzT4Kxc thats how my bike used to sound without any modifications

Honda discontinued the ST1300 so they could sell more Goldwings..... they should have kept this model .....I have a 2006 and dearly love her !

Hello. Thank you for your comment. Yes you are right. I think they must have regretted ending the production of the ST1300. I sold the bike you see in the video and I regret doing so. It is a wonderful bike and rides great. I might buy another one in the future.

Hello. The Pan is much more comfortable. The ST1300 is an excelent touring bike. I loved it.

Hi. The one I have in the video is from "PIUG". I do not have that one anymore because I found it to low. I have one from "GIVI" now witch is great because it is ajustable. You can see photos of the new one on my facebook page: facebook.com/2WheelsTravels

Hello! I just spent a month at a friend's house (Praia da Samarra, near Sao Joao das Lampas), I absolutely loved that area, thinking about settling there. I am hesitating between buying a F 700GS in Belgium, where I am now or in Portugal. Could you help me comparing prices? Where shoud I look for prices in Portugal? I understand enough Portuguese to read newspapers, websites, etc. Thanks.

Well, if you are going to settle maybe it will be better to buy a português registered bike, you might need to sell it later and this way it will be easier. You can find lots os them on sale ate the facebook marketplace.

The F700GS is such a smart bike. I love mine. Looks like we have similar tastes, my other bike is the G650GS (the 650 single) as well. I don't mind the vibrations on it, I just rode it across Italy, but the 700GS is nicer.

I owned a 2007 BMW F 650 GS. I went to Marocco and it was a lovely bike but eventually the vibration got to me.

Is there a difference between the ST1300 sold in the US and the Pan European? I’m looking at a 2006 ST1300 for sale in Las Vegas.

I don not think there is a diference. In Europe the model is called Honda Pan European ST1300.

My friend had one of these I had an Suzuki ap 50 we used to race and he could keep up with me no problem, my ap 50 ate pistons so I bought it of him as my reserve bike when the ap was broken 🤣 wish I still had it now if I remember right it had a chrome bore same as a Puch maxi in the end the piston broke and I gave it to another Friend he put a new piston and cly on at a cost of £60 it but it seized again after that I don't know what happened to it but it did have a rounded cyl head as I remember it was m reg I think it was a 1976 model Happy days 😄

Thanks for the video. I just bought the same bike and same year. Mine has the Micheline Anakee 3 tires which came as stock. Are your tires the Micheline Anakee Adventure? How do you like them, on road, off road, dirt, gravel? Thx!

Thank you. Mine has the same tires as yours. I think they are still the original ones. My bike has only 18 000 km. I have no complains about the tires. They have done well and are good on any terain as long has I am conserne. By the way, my bike is lowered at factory.

Hi, I have had the bike for a year now. I do 4 L/100 Km, around 59,15 miles per gallon. It is a very economic motorcycle. Oil and filter change is every 10 000 km (6250 miles).

Under the seat it fits 2 full face helmets my friend. Put the helmets with the wind glasses look front.
