Solar tip: e.g. a Beuler and all other hungry electricity consumers can be continuously adjusted down to e.g. 300W with a 5000W dimmer (7EUR). I run 5 dimmers in parallel on an 850W inverter. Hey mate, We have a New Age Big Red 23. We had some $10000.00 worth of upgrades done by new Age Adelaide. Bec, Warren and Ben were fantastic,. We had a few challenges and had to take the van back several times. Could-not fault the dedication of the team to get us up and running. We are full time in the van travelling. it was a hassle each time but the team were awesome. Hats off to Ben and the service team.

I’ve just bought a new Wayfinder WF13 Adventure Plus, but haven’t picked it up yet. Can I ask about the power system? When off-grid and relying on the solar, can the microwave be used or do I need a powered campsite for that? While using just solar, can I plug regular household items into the 240v sockets, such as a laptop charger or a small electric kettle? If not, is there 12v sockets inside the camper to run a 12v kettle when not plugged into mains power?

Are these models still supported?

The problem with these campers is the inside table. It can not be lowered or removed. Needs to be more flexible. Also the design of the half door top half needs to be looked at. The velcro becomes unstuck and so it can not be sealed properly. Also the roof tends to hold a lot of water on heavy rain. In the 13ft the bed is very heavy so trying to access the internal storage under the bed can be a problem. The external door access to the under bed storage is too small. Larger items need to be stored by accessing the storage space by lifting the bed. The external access to bed storage needs to be 6 inches longer and wider.
