I did likewise from Felix Contesanu in Edmonton, AB. The difference is definitely worth it, althoughi did not change the bell. The sound came alive, has warmth and soul. The clear coat removal was huge in sound improvement. My cost was 1100 Cdn. he has done 160 as of 4 years ago. the lead pipe is his own design and works wonders.

I thought about getting a 567 to get back into horn playing and start recording myself in films I score. I saw the conversion on Lukas' site and was wondering if you thought it would be a good idea to get a used 567 and convert it? How does it compare to high end pro horns? You sound great, man!

Before I switched to this horn I was 6th in my studio. After switching this year to this horn I’m now 2nd. This horn is totally worth it 👌🏼
