Man, it sucks that competition shows are only about the backstory and making everyone feelsafe and happy now They used to just give a quick intro, name and where they're from, then the performance, then they got told the truth. If it was bad they got told it, or if it was good it was good. Watch any new competition show now, there's a full minute of backstory, another minute of discussion on stage with judges, then the performance thats so cinematic its like a movie, and another minute of discussion with judges after.
