I’ve been a BMW guy for about 15 years now. Been tuning 335is for about 10. Traded my stage 2 F30, due to valvetronic and timing issues, for a MK6 Golf R with 68K. I have to say, I’m impressed. For a stock car, it’s surprisingly quick and nimble. I still love my other BMWs but this little girl stole my heart and will be my daily driver for the foreseeable future.

Honestly, everything I've read with adjustable end links is that they're not worth it unless you're going to slam it (compromises handling) or the car turns into just a weekend/toy car. They can be noisy from what I've read. H&R and their bushing design is second to none. Still have no issues with my F/R H&R bars I've had for years at this point. I also found that for the rear, putting it on ramps and loading up the suspension makes the install a hell of a lot easier.

@LOLTires3 ай бұрын
The online 6 option with a manual would be easiest. The autos are too lazy. A welded diff and a hydro and you’re set. A lot of people do the late M104 and turbo it as well, it’s a solid set up and pretty cheap. You can also do VWs 12v VR6 because believe it or not, 190e came with those in rare spec. I am gonna go with the ol but trusty LSX swap and a TR6060 transmission

@justinjoyit136 ай бұрын
An LSD would be the way to go but of course they cost a good chunk of change. They should have had them from factory. Also the engine sits too far forward, you can see it could go back at least a few inches which would help handling - I'm sure MB had their reasons but it makes the front end plow in tight turns.

You would likely have to change the compression ratio for any forced induction, a swap from an SLK32 AMG is an option I entertained. However, look around on Chystler Crossfire forums (same engine), there have been several people that turbocharged them and have a lot of good information.

R32 is the best sounding engine, i own an R32 and a Mk7.5 R. its sad VW decided to stop putting the VR6 engine in the R and end up putting a 4 cylinder in it. probably due to emissions laws here in Europe.
@LOLTires7 ай бұрын
That is fore sure. I think they did it because it’s a more efficient engine at making power but I do wish they stuck with the VR6 and developed it more to make more power naturally aspirated. By far the R32 is one of the best sounding cars in the world

Last but not least..since your car paint job has a si theme.with the moldings colors matched and door handles color matched to the paint paint the side mirrors to white to complete the theme..if you keep those black you might as well paint the trim moldings around the car and bumpers to black to have the black strip all around..just a suggestion i know each to their own but painting those mirrors to white will make your car look even better and oem+

Efs are not easy cars to swap engines into either ..going turbo will still need you to wiring modify to get the ecu tunable to be (obd1)

Hondas sensors mostly just never mean the parts are out bad.. honda communitcation and self diagnostic system is from point A to B. Meaning from the part/sensor(A) to the ecu (B) if the part/sensor is bad that can be the beginning of the problem .if that part is good the wire is either broken somewhere or the plugs are damage or has water. Or the ecu is finally dead (,after working 30 years) So in your case the oil switch light has nothing to do with the ecu..it mainly the sensor that goes on the block, 1 wire going all the way back to the instrumental cluster ending on your oil pressure light..so the sensor being so close to the oil filter those usually break off from age and britalness.. so check the wire plug if thats good or you fix it. And still not good ohm out the sensor see if its in range as with a new one.. and just change it out ..
@LOLTires8 ай бұрын
It turned out I had a weak oil pump, everything measured correctly and it would just make low oil pressure. I replaced it and had no issues since
