Hello, I would like to say thank you firstly... as stated by a few comments. When starting with Cartesian dimensions at 1:33 with dimensions 19mm and -5.3mm, the results are different from yours. To FIX this, do not enter (-) minus. The correct figures are 19mm and 5.3mm. @2:17 16.8mm and 16.5mm @2:57 40mm and 5.3mm. @3:18 15.8mm and 14.1mm

Hi, I am using DS mechanical to design drawings that I will send to my engraver to be cut on wood. Problem is I need to send the file as a DXF and I know that I should have that "save as type" option, and I dont !Please, someone help me find the solution. Thank you!

hey brother, nice vest, you gotta either rename this video or take it down. This video doesn't tell me shit about applying open source motion control to an industrial robot. when i saw the video on the website, i thought, "yeah, ill watch that, I wonder what open source motion control platform they will use to control this industrial robot. BUT when watching the video I thought, "kinda seems like there not gonna tell me anything about applying open source motion control to an industrial robot." On top of hat, you dont mention anything about motion control let alone open source motion control. You just called in afro and he did it all for you. I dont know afro so i cant get him to do it for me, even if i did know him, i wouldn't really wanna bother him, he looks pretty important in his lab coat. anyway enjoy Milan, that seems like a pretty nice place to be.

A short demo of a patch fill that is tangential to corners of an object, as well as using the blend tool to patch fill a complex gap profile. Also shows the stripes tool in the Measure/Quality tab to assess quality of the finish. A short demo of patterning in DSM. Here we show how customisable patterns are in terms of number of pattern members, skew, distance between members and more. A short demo of the draft analysis tool in the Measure tab of DS Mechanical. It helps you visually evaluate the surface draft angle to identify problems early in your design process. This is particularly useful to ensure injection moulded parts eject cleanly from the mould cavity. You left a major point out on move. If you want to move the entire object, you have to either select it in the structure tree, triple click it, or draw a selection box around it so ALL faces are selected. Otherwise you only move the selected face, which makes it work more like a pull or extrude tool. It's obvious the presenter didn't know that. I had to figure it out myself.

That SDR receiver only has a 50 ohm SMA antenna jack, you need a 9:1 unun to get best results from a random wire antenna.

Well, it's possible to slow the video playback speed to 1/4 ( 0.25) - for the sake of keeping the video brief it's difficult to go over the principles in different ways. You can always ask a question in the DesignSpark mechanical forum. I do accept that a lot of principles are covered or explained quickly. We have different levels of Instruction depending upon the subscription level within the help pages. Thanks for the comments. It's really a big vindication of dynamic design to have the ability to change the objects shape based upon a target mass of either the component or the total assembly mass.

Hi Sir. Impressive design. How have you customized your ribbon under the main toolbar? Do you have a tutorial on theses advanced feature?
@TAH17127 ай бұрын
The ribbon tool can be customised easily by 'Select the command > right click ' Add to quick access toolbar' Also, many commands can have 'keyboard' short cuts added - this is done in DSM options > Customise.
