Yeah! So glad to see you. Looked up your channel just this afternoon to make sure I had not missed any updates. After I saw your ad for WeCrochet in front of another crafters vlog.

It is ridiculous that there are no instructions! I am a knitter, but in the past I did own a knitting machine and they had instructions! Even knitters aren't going to know how everything works without instructions! I would say that should also have videos on site to show how to do each part of using the sock machine, as some people learn better visually as well. That is poor customer service. I'd say at this rate, they won't be in business long. You have spent a small fortune on this and deserve much better than that!

They do have videos, lots of them. The videos are very in-depth, so much so that I would have to fast forward through them to get to the next step because it was too detailed. I'm in no way affiliated with D&B, just an owner that found this video when looking something else up and couldn't believe the naivete.

All these 3D-Printed/made CSMs comes in so many different materials and with slightly different parts designs. For me, and after watching several videos about these 3D-Printed CSMs, the machine I will be getting is the True-knit- Yes, it is 3-4 times more expensive like this one but is made by an Experienced Knitter herself, is totally metal, is already adjusted for tension and its reviews, and videos, specially by this lady Diana Natters from Austin Texas shows how swift and silent this machine is without the hassle Julie had with this one, and Diana gets some wonderful results!!! Thanks for your review and Happy New Year 2025!!!

I'm a quilter as well but was a knitter way before that. It goes in circles for me. I quilt a lot in the summer and knit more in the winter. I always have something to knit on the couch for the evenings in the winter also..

7 months ago I purchased your sock book and started to learn to knit. I now have 10 pairs of socks, 2 jumpers, 1 cardigan and 2 tops (one in mosaic). I'm partway through my first stranded colourwork jumper as I watch this video. Thank you for being my inspiration to become a knitter, your book made me believe I could ❤

For an annual event that we all wait impatiently for due to the fact that some people just can't attend, this one was pretty bad. 15 minutes and not enough of the market. Excessive plane ride views and road travel footage. So unessasary. So cheesy. Shame on you ladies. Keep your camera out of New York. 😮
@TwinStitchesDesigns3 ай бұрын
If you didn’t like the vlog there’s no need to comment on it. I worked 90% of the whole time I was at rhinebeck hence why there wasn’t ton of footage. Again if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Move on to the next maker/podcaster if im not for you.

I’ll never understand why people complain/make rude comments on anyone’s video.They are making free content for you to consume.

If this FREE content that NO ONE IS FORCING YOU TO WATCH, does not satisfy your needs then go find a recap video that gives you what you’re looking for. Considering how hard JulieAnn worked over the weekend, I’m surprised she was able to capture any footage at all. Great job on being such a supportive subscriber!!!

Wow! I am absolutely floored. I think it’s nice to support fellow knitters as they grow, but also tbh if people don’t buy a pattern because we don’t like it, we’re not obligated to support them financially. That would be like if I didn’t buy clothes when I went to the store, but threw a $5 in the jar just because the staff seemed nice. I like your message but ultimately I’m not supporting designers I can’t get behind (I don’t know you or your designs yet, I’m just saying in general).

I would like to know what happened with the pink Jackie O Cardigan? I found it on your website with lots of unanswered commenters questions. Where is it on Raverly so I can get more information?

This was a free pattern on my blog and was never listed in Ravelry
@Kialas3 ай бұрын
Hi, interesting video, thank you! What I did not see in these calculations is the monthly upkeep bills like website or email, the selling costs, because I would think that Ravelry or the bank or some such take a cut of your sale. And then the taxes and pensions and all that. When I was an entrepreneur, I was taught that my hourly rate should be at least 1.5x the one of who is employed by others to cover the costs.
