There’s no benefit to running a higher octane or premium fuel unless your vehicle requires it. It doesn’t improve power or fuel efficiency. However, the cleaning agents added to gas by Shell, Chevron, & Mobil (USA West Coast) is very good for your vehicle & recommended over cheap stations.

@@joshb7415 they can do, 1.6tdi do have known injector problems. Many do 100k-200k miles and are fine tho. If you get AA cover it covers them as well. 🙂

@willsvanadventures ppm is just a water quality test, could be 4000 ppm and you're good to go as long as it's something negligible like calcium. "Safe" would probably consist of using purification chemicals for parasites and bacteria.

Hi, you need to unscrew the panels with either a screwdriver or a drill and then they will come off 🙂

Hi random question but do you know many mm is behind the pot riveted panels in rear end of the van? Between the back of them and the body Work? I need 6.5mm as i want to attach things to them with self drilling screws,ive found some that are 9.5 long,obviously dont want to touch the body panels. It looks like the distance might vary? Appreciate and help Cheers

I wish my clutch pedal rubber came off as easily as yours. Mine was stuck to the pedal and took the edges of the plastic pedal with it before I stopped. I now need a new clutch pedal.

You totally contradicted your self. You said someone tried with VCDS to remove / increase limit and when unplugged it went back on. Then at the end you say the 2 ways to fix is remap or VCDS. So this makes no sense. The only way is to remap it. Also this is just part of an older vid you cut to make a short to fluff up the channel.

Just come back from a couple of days wild camping. Only issue was having to get out the van 1st thing in the morning. Searched and found this video. Got home and did it in 5 minutes so a big thanks for the tip.

I’m not planning to do much travelling in my van, I use it mostly for work but some extra ventilation during summer would be nice. But my caddy has a sporty feet and tbh that vent looks pretty ugly hehe not sure it’s worth it for me

I've had AA Breakdown cover for many years because I own a 24 year old BMW E38. Over the years they've been brilliant and paid every time when I made claims. Unfortunately, recently coolant leaked from the thermostat sensor into the computer box and damaged the ECU after a leak had developed. The water travelled up the wire. My mechanic misdiagnosed the issue and told AA that it was rain water that had entered the computer box. AA refused to pay😢
