Awesome News! I've been hoping you would release the Kanokon series and OVA's on Blu-ray for years, you can never go wrong with those Akio Takami character designs. It's nice to see Genshiken coming back into print also. I'll definitely be getting both.

This is a welcome bit of serendipity. Great to hear about the BD for Kanokon, but the Genshiken news likely saved me a nice chunk of change from importing the not-at-all English-friendly Japanese BD set.

As a license suggestion, any interest in acquiring Kimera to rescue the rights as ADV Films is out of business, and they were the ones who originally released it in North America (although I would recommend getting the approval to make a brand new English dub as ADV's is somewhat watered-down)?

It is there. Look at the extras menu in the video. The movies are not very long at all and World is really short. It can easily all fit with no additional compression needed on a BD50.

Hoping since you guys have just established a connection to Keita’s work you will eventually get the license to the Garo series. Kraken Releasing went under just as the series was making its way here to the USA, so all the shows after season 2 never made it here.
