Hi Gerald. Hope you can help. I’m trying to understand the wiring connections to my Elite Roboslide built in 2001. Works great but the button in my garage will not open the gate. The wireless button in my car works. I see thin gray coated cable with black, red, blue and white wires. On the base of the inside unit are connectors with small screws…. Any insight on how to troubleshoot it would be greatly appreciated. I replaced the board and the wall push button and it still doesn’t work when I press it. Thanks

my gate wouldn't work after hand cranking (after power outage). This video drew my attention to the safety switch (red part where crank goes). Just had to flick it back and forward a couple times to disengage that switch! Saved me a bunch of time and money !! thanks!

Hello can you help me can you help me I am having issues with my Elite 3000 it keeps going into alarm saying there's something in the way I took off the transmission belt off because I have trouble shot everything. once in awhile depending on the weather my gate does not work

I have an older elite access system (pre chamberlain acquisition) that's similar. Currently motor is not running or kicking on so I've narrowed down the issue to either control board or motor but I don't know how to check whether the motor is dead or whether there's power from the board to motor with multimeter. Can't see a thermal fuse pop either on the motor. Based on the fast flashing system on led light, the Omni control board indicates that it may be an issue with the limit switch which I hope it is since it'll be an easy fix. From what I understand if the system on light doesn't flash immediately when system is on then that's not the issue but if it goes on when a button like open/close is pressed then it's something else. I would need to confirm at some point. Any thoughts anyone?

My DC2000 Backup beeps when the power is off three beeps and then several rapid beeps and it does not open the gate any longer. I suspect the UPS is bad but don't know because when my system has power the LED for Charge OK is lit up. Any ideas?

I recently had too many leaves in the way of my gate and it started smoking. I pressed the reset button but to no avail. Should I just replace the whole motor itself?

The gate opens normally with proper torque until it starts to close it's when it looses power or torque.

So my ramset 100 gate opener started loosing power when closing now it's really weak and it'll try to close like 5 feet very weak and reopen itself until like the 5th try it'll close normally with it's regular torque at first it's weak before 5 tries is.it the motor that's going bad ?

The gear box requires basically no maintenance. I've been servicing operators for 7 years and we have never serviced a gear box and we maintain operators that have been in service for 20+ years with zero maintenance.

so I get overload when the operator arm has any pressure on it. any ideas? adjusted the sensitivity and no changes

How do you replace the battery

I am part of a condo association and we have an Elite Pro gate in front of our property. We are looking to reprogram the gate entry code (hasn't been done for 20 years) and our prop manager says it's so old, it requires a complete replacement at $4612 or so. I believe our prop manager is just too lazy to research how to do that and just recommends throwing $4600 to replace the whole system. Are there manuals or online support for Elite Pro gates? Or is the reprogramming process fairly easy to understand?

I have a liftmaster csl24v and it has a problem at the beginning and end of cycles... When it starts to open it shakes vpretty bad and then runs smooth til it gets to the other end and starts to shake again.. Sometimes it refuses to open/close unless I give it a little help by pushing/pulling at the start of the cycle. I have a new chain, new rollers and new what the guy called a "rotation reducer" which is supposed to slow the gear as it gets closer to either end... Any ideas?

We have an SL3000UL and the reset motor LED lights up when I press open and close via circuit board. I have pressed the reset button on the side of operator and there is no change. The keypad remains dead on the gate, unresponsive to commands. Troubleshooting says to "cycle operator power". How do I do this?

I have an Elite sl3000ul slide gate two gate and operator system which is strictly an exit gate. I have a problem with the gate only opening a couple feet sometimes and just stopping, there is nothing in the way it just stops. Some times you can back up and then pull forward and it will open the rest of the way and sometimes you have to hit the resets and then back up and pull forward for it to open the rest of the way. Can you give me any insight on what is happening?

I have an Elite SL-3000-UL series gate and it gets stuck open. Sometimes it starts to close then reopens and then stays open. I have had three different repair companies come out and none of them have been able to fix the issue. I have replaced the circuit board with a working gate and have the same issue with the same gate. The loop detectors seemed to be working fine but I changed them anyway and the problem continues. The chain is properly tightened and the sensitivity is set to push over a tank. The track is also free from debris. What should I be looking at? Please help.

Our sliding gate doesn't always open! Replaced the receiver with the New one and still not working. The only way to get it to work is to use the handle and manually open it a little bit, about 1or 2 yards and then press the Open button (on the board) and after that it will work no mater how many times you open and close it with the remote! It seems like that after 1 day or so not using the gate opener, it will stop working with the remote and have to use the same method explained above. Please share you thoughts with us because we both are very frustrated and the technician already charged us $600 for the new chain and a new receiver and now he wants to replace both the Board and the Motor! i got a double elite 3000 gate setup, gates operate independently of each other, one of entry, one for exit. We have intermittent issues constantly with our gate operators...currently the issue i'm experiencing is 1 gate functions perfectly fine, the other gate only opens or closes 1 foot at a time before cutting power to the operator motor...about to pull my hair out...any ideas what would cause roughly only 1 ft of travel?...limit switches operator perfectly
