The real hack for this thinking about it like sliding with one foot with you momentum going foward and crouching/bending your knees while sliding but the one foot analogy is key

Lean back with your lower body but you front shoulder needs to dip slightly in front of you

One thing I would say that helps a lot too with mini tricks downstairs is just keeping your shoulders squared with the board. It seems to give you more structure. Also I would also say look at the edge of the stairs as you’re approaching and then as you’re bending down focus on your board.

What's the difference between a half cab and a fakie bs 180? Is there a difference

You can switch flip but I feel like they could be better. I think the look back at the back foot technique is what's holding them back from being A1. If you embrace the switch stance like you do your normal stance they'll improve. The key to switch is weight distribution of the front foot. We become accustomed to the weight being on the front foot of our normal stance so when we skate switch naturally we'll keep the weight on the back foot. learning how to distribute the weight when switching stances is key.

I skate for 28 years now and still struggle with bs 50-50. HAHA For me nollie bs 50-50 is much easier than the regular one. Also nollie bs 5-0 is much easier for me than bs 5-0. Its crazy! I know how to do them but they are hard to commit. But i will not give up until i get them back.

I had the oposite problem, tre flip going to much in front of me. This is because most tutorials suggest to lean back. In my opinion this is wrong. You should remain centered over the board. I got it fixed but my biggest issue I cannot fix so far is the back foot landing on the ground before board finished the rotation, so I only catch it with front foot. Any tip how I could work on this problem?
