Don't get Chinese end mills, make sure they're carbide. Slow is accurate and accurate is fast in this case, and lube it up. When bits get hot they wear out fast so if you need to let it cool intermittently

Yeah it keeps the floor and firewall cooler. Less heat in the engine compartment too. You don’t want your engine sucking in too much hot air.

Any update on the run time? How long has it been able to pull fuel? Have you had any issues when the tank is less full?
@Halffast719
@Halffast719 10 күн бұрын
I have it connected to my return fuel line which sits right at the 1/4 tank mark. So when I fuel tank gets to 1/4 tank it can’t pull fuel anymore. I ran it for 4-5 hours on a full tank and the needle never moved.

Hey question What you think of the 1995 dodge 3500 duly two wheel drive V10 diesel . I see your cars are diesel thanks glad to see that old tractor 🚜 😊
@Halffast719
@Halffast719 Ай бұрын
The v10 I believe is an 8 liter gasoline engine. I’d stay away from. The chassis and transmission are different than what the inline six cylinder 5.9 12 valve Cummins diesel came with too. I’ve seen people put a Cummins in those gas truck frames and it would twist the frame but that’s usually with compound turbos and big injectors.

Yeah pretty much. And get an adapter for the stub shaft to go from ram to ford or maybe just get a ford stub shaft with a special u-joint. My plan if one of these bearings fails is just go get a timken ford wheel bearing and take it to a machine shop since I have the adapter.
