what for?

My Daughter decided she didn’t want to continue playing in College…she had the offers and was a All State in Texas…she played her last summer ball this year…team finished an over all record of 33-11. Won the Mt. Elbert Bracket in Colorado and competed in tier 2 at the Alliance Nationals in Chino…although we did score a run against Batbusters Stith…I am already missing softball. I have no idea how I’m going to handle not going to practice and tournaments. This is a fantastic production. I’ve been a freelancer covering sports TV since ‘92 as a replay/editor for ESPN, Fox, NBC etc…this was very well done.

Enjoyed this! Really good info. I'm a softball coach who coached from Rec, travelball, high school and at the collegiate level. It gives me a different prospective regarding players and parents. I remember Jav and Paul playing at UCLA as a big UCLA fan. Thanks Tony for putting this together! Great stuff! God bless!

Is it worth it?

I would love to have been involved in this conversation. I feel so many of the same emotions talked about in this episode. I was hired by my daughter (which is so awesome) to be her assistant at a Catholic HS in New York. We do not have a very strong softball program (only 5 or 6 travel ball kids) and we're ok with that. It's like therapy for me. I try to have a positive influence and think of myself as an extension of my players educations.

Big time respect for those that created it and all those that help to make it so strong. I know it wasn't easy, but, things like this are some of the most important for our society, to grow and have "true" equality

aw i didn't know ya'll made vlogs! now im binge watching all of them (: my last year of travel softball was 2016 and I miss it so much. This makes me miss going to practice and all the other little things.
