If I recall this game is set in an alternate universe of the main timeline of the Foundation. I don't recall fully the exact details of Site 12 and what was happening there but at this point in the timeline of this said universe which was all brought to knowledge due to SCP 5000's abilties, now defunt this "Absolute Exclusion Harness" which was designed by the Foundation had only been able to hold basic storage function and a great deal of information was found out (The suit suddenly just appears in a room in the main timeline). What they had found out is that at some point and time the Foundation in the alt timeline had become increasingly and deeply infiltrated by a rouge element of their own personnel, and was so broad that the acting Foundation staff that had the interested in humanity were now almost all dead in a massive world wide attack on almost all sites, utilizing almost all KETER/Euclid class SCPS that had destructive capabilities and begun a world wide attack upon all of humanity (If you look at journal entries you find it explains in great detail these attacks.) You as the US. Governments UIU division are going in to figure out exactly wtf and how to try and stop it. This rouge Foundation goes even so far as to Hijack all RSS feeds of the world and sent a live message of the ruling 05 openly declaring war on humanity as well. NOW how SCP 5k even fits into any of this or if we even ever encounter the suit? Who knows, as best as reports have come in there was someone in the suit at SOME point who was Foundation staff and was not part of the Rogue elements that took over. Overall the situ for the UIU and humanity as a whole in that Timeline Reality is NOT GOOD and quite bleak. - 05-14 "Lorekeeper"
