I have a big collection of trainers/sneakers. I had them for a while to resell and as personals, now lost interest completely and want to sell it all. Used to sell on stockx, goat or to friends. But was looking to set up on Vinted or Ebay, but hearing lots of scam happening on Vinted especially. Would you sell on Vinted or stick to ebay confirmed? I have new pairs and used. I was always cautious of every platform apart of stockx and goat... Thanks

Are you just searching very generic categories? I hear people sniping but I don't filter anything. Is there a checklist of what to do?

It's always nice to see different charity shops' pricing techniques; certainly a variety of tactics on offer there! Was the Finisterre shirt priced up too high? The demand for the brand is on the up I'm finding.

Hey Adam really enjoyed your video it's great to see you doing this style of video! I'm still quite new in the game and have found such great value from watching experienced resellers sourcing and giving a good explanation of why they do or don't pick something up. Charity shopping is definitely more of a challenge than it used to be but the thrill of the hunt is still there! And there are still good bargains to be had. Have a great day.

Very nice. Last Barbour Westmorland Gilet I had went to the states for £90. That’s a great sack full of stock. I stopped buying a few months ago as I had 3 sacks in a row with fake jeans - Levi’s , diesel and Boss. Inexperienced pickers but enough to put me off. To be fair to Boom, that was the only 3 sacks where I’d received fake jeans in more than 2 years of buying. Might have to start getting these sacks again.

Pete, you looked really smart in your gilet. That first seller was a miserable person, made no effort, glad you got a good buy. Lola lovely as always.

the thing is the people who moan about us resellers dont have that same energy when tesco buys milk from farmers for 2p then sells it for £1 or when asda negotiates the price of a bottle of shampoo from 30p down to 20p. they just dont like that we make the money and not them. everyone has the same access to the information we have so if people want to put in the same effort we do then they can also sell their stuff for what we sell it for. they think our job is just buy for £5 sell for £50, they seem to forget we have to clean, test, photograph, store, list, pack, post and customer service. all that extra work deserves some financial reward.

The new accounts thing stood out to me after I joined vinted last week. If you sort by a well known brand like Carhartt for example you'll get a lot of new listings with gibberish names like v2j3nfk2k4ktgn2, and the price will be super cheap, and you get a lot of different accounts listing at the same time. Seems like a lot of sketchy organized scams going on.

Why sell on Ebay when you dont get 100% back from your sale? Just wondering
@simonhaytack88016 ай бұрын
More eyes on eBay can mean you can sell for a higher price and faster.
@thefliproom3 ай бұрын
Good question…Technically businesses can’t sell on Vinted so eBay is the next best thing. For lower volumes you could risk flipping back on Vinted.

I tried this. I got 0 sales on eBay. Had to resell on vinted for a loss

It’s not easy, it’s kind of like a skill you need to develop over time. Should be able to flip items back on Vinted for a profit.

Great video and an honest review. I think the Barbour waxed trousers are past it. They look like they've been used for riding and the wear isn't worth repairing. Some good bits though!

The Barbour is waxed canvas not leather. Still great for resale as it can be repaired and rewaxed by Barbours repair service.
