@@trekm550 Dinan or not both the intake and lowering springs will not void the warranty. With that said, I would definitely recommend going with Dinan for both mods, as the intake is great and the lowering springs did not give the car a harsh ride while giving it the stance. No trimming was required. However, Garageline says that if you get the 15mm spacers then you may have to trim the studs

@@fd_ej what do they recommend maintenance wise? Like do we have to get alignment ever so often? Or does the spacers put wear on the parts over time? I’m new at using spacers as u can see.

This was my first set of spacers but as far as I can tell there’s no maintenance that you have to do as upkeep. The alignment and ride was the exact same after we put the spacers. The only thing we did was put locktight on the studs just to be safe. As for wear, they haven’t seemed to impact anything. I think of it as just an extension of the hubs. Been well over 3k miles on them and no complaints. Hope this helps!

Yes, I put lock tight on the factory studs, as those are the ones keeping the spacer in place. No specific kind tho, just make sure you get the threads on the factory studs and the nuts that come with the spacers

My buddy who’s car we installed the intake on said that he immediately felt the extra hp. His words were “I can really feel the rear tires biting, almost like they want to break loose”. I’ve been in the car since, and the intake noise is noticeably louder when over 40% throttle. Dinan claims an extra 21hp with the intake, but in his car it feels like more, probably due to the Dinan piggyback. Other than that the car is still comfortable with just a nice little boost in noise and power. Hope this helped!

The accord is also CVT only, if they still offered the manual 2.0T then it would be comparable but imo the accord is in a whole other market than the civic. For me, the civic is what to buy if you are looking for more fun than luxury, even though you still get plenty with the civic.

100% agree. The safety systems seem kinda gimmicky but the car itself is really fun. I hope you enjoy your car!

The spacers have no effect on the drivability of the car other than that the wheels are out further so you have to be more mindful of curbs. Even if you do lower it, the only effect would be a more harsh ride

My apologies for not mentioning the price. This car was $33k MSRP not including the floor mats or HPD wing. As for the number of production manuals, my good friend Chad at Tim Marburger Honda, who helped me out with getting this car, informed me about it when I was planning to order a manual before we found my car.

As of now the manual ST is still available to order from Honda. I believe the configurator still lets you choose the manual option for both the ST and the Sport. I will admit that on my search, most of the cars I saw were either automatic or sonic grey, so it took me a while to find this but it was well worth the wait. The best thing to do is build one on the configurator and then click a button that says something like “see local inventory”. This will show you cars both on lots and in transit. Sometimes even the dealers don’t know they have manual cars 😂

Don’t give up man, Honda still has a few more manual hatches to build before they start production on the hybrids. Plus, there are plenty of manuals in circulation of the market, you just have to be patient to find the one you want.

It took me months to find this car. I kept checking multiple dealership websites. None had it for the way I wanted it. Then one day, I found it. Patience was key. I hopped on it right away.

Don't give up. Set up a bookmark at sites like Caredge, Edmunds, and others for the specific features (e.g. manual transmission) from your ZIP code, and visit it everyday. I started doing that late last year. I got my Sport Hatch Manual about 2 months ago. I got it from a further away dealer, as the closest one wasn't getting what I wanted.

So glad you’re enjoying your car! I feel like the 1.5 hatches, especially the manual cars will rise in value here in the next year.
