Really enjoy the videos! Just wanted to ask a question. Which kayak would you recommend. I'm currently looking to get a paddle kayak (my budget) is $1600. I'm 5'8 and looking for a kayak that I can take on to lakes and also being able to stand on, but also not be too heavy to paddle. The reason I'm not going pedal drive or motor is because I'm a broke college student. I've been looking at like the Nucanoe U10, Crescent LT2 & the Bonafide SS127. Thanks!
@TGCanoe5 күн бұрын
Collin, for standing the U10 and SS127 are the best options as they are nice and stable. The "shallow V" hull of the LTII makes for good paddling but it's not a solid platform for standing. The U10 will be the slowest as more length adds to hull speed. You may look at the U12, also. FYI - All can be enhanced with a motor in the future,

Will these fit on a Crescent Shoalie?
@joshuawilkes957013 күн бұрын
The SourceSteer does, I think the wheels will hit the ledge on the Shoalie on this one.
@tgcanoesandkayaks13 күн бұрын
I just test fitted this for you, the rail aligns properly, however you will need a half inch spacer between the rail and the kayak, as the bottom roller bearings do indeed touch the bottom edge of the Shoalie rail cutout area. I can send you pictures if you would like to see, just dm me on instagram.

Any word on the recommended way to store this kayak? Does it need to be stored on its side like a traditional kayak (sling), or is it best stored flat on its hull like in this video?

Hey maybe you can point me in the right direction.. I’m looking for a sit on top kayak that is over 12 ft long. My highest priority is paddling performance. Bonus is being able to stand. With my research I’ve narrowed it down to the crescent lite tackle 2 and the tarpon 120.. am I on the right track? Or is there another kayak that comes to mind?

@tgcanoesandkayaksАй бұрын
@ericbird4269 got ya, Tarpon 120 is great but lacks a seat to stand up from easily. The LiteTackle II will do great. Also, the Sportsman 120 would work well.

@tgcanoesandkayaks where is that stated by Bonafide....need the manufacturer statement for tournaments if you gonna have both motors on the rig....and I want both motors on the rig!
@Supertrooper432Ай бұрын
On Bonafide's website in the "Introducing the XTR130" section then top left of that under "For the Tournament Angler" it does state on the website: "Outfitted to be ready for dual motors and substantial battery storage, it guarantees seamless, hands-free navigation." Seems like a statement to me, but dont think any kayak tournaments at this time allow dual motors.
