www.trailforks.com/trails/lychee-farm-rambutan-track/ > Park at the top for a swim in the middle of your ride (and if the track condition is unknown or overgrown). > Park at the bottom for a swim at the end (Shannonvale Rd). > Assuming you're solo you'll ride back to the highway then up the Mossman Mt Molloy Rd.

It could be. I use Trailforks to name my videos as it's much easier to match to my GPS tracking.

Plenty, although all have traffic. Others; Gillies Range (go early morning) Mossman Mount Molloy rd Pine Creek Yarrabah rd Kuranda (always busy with cars & no shoulder) Google for other roads within Cairns up creeks and rivers for short n sweet. Or ride from the highway to the beaches. 👍 Enjoy.

You know how dangerous this is for us drivers on this exact same road, when a bicycle flies around the corner, faster than the car? Maybe we've crossed path before but I've had to narrowly avoid a few cyclists coming down that road extremely fast so please be careful...

Thanks for the comment Zane. On this occasion (as noted above) this was a closed road with no cars. Naturally when the road is open to all vehicles extra care should be taken by all road users.

500 Above is a Blue trail (medium difficulty) & shuttle available. Also have a look at www.trailforks.com to find a rating for anywhere you wish to ride 👍

I wouldn't recommend it. The trail is a 2km climb and 2km decent. It is a Blue trail so fitness and decent mtb skills are required to keep themselves safe. Exercise extreme caution as highly skilled riders can approach at 30-40kmh.

It's wicked fun. You earn it on the ride up, but it is well built, flowy and great for your berm, flow & pump skills practice on the way down.

Hey John, yeah Challenge trail is awesome. Great flow. The gadgets are an option in GoPro's Quik video editing software. I used a Hero 5 Black, and made sure GPS was connected before recording to capture speed and tracking data.
