I lived on the Childwall Valley Council Estate (opposite The Coronation Pub/now a Lidl) up to the early 1990s. Coming home from town (then) the 79 would go to Lee Park and Netherley (where did that 79A end up?). Now that I live off Wavertree High Street from 2020 I use the 79 again, its great that this one goes to Halewood and the 79c goes through to Runcorn via Widnes.

I've booked 2 cruises, as a solo you must book early to get a solo cabin, so a 31 day cruise in Med in 2026 & 41 day Caribbean in 2027. Both on Ambition, so I can see what I'll be eating at least. Nice small ship, my first cruise & first hol in 20yrs.

Nice footage! I have sailed on this class of ship in the Caribbean several times, quite a nice style of ship and now of course quite a medium sized, unlike the enormous leviathans currently creeping about on party family cruises. Pity they plastered Peace Boat on the side considering it's a 'ship' though! Nice interior décor and set out well. A good cruise experience all round! Good memories! 😉👍

hi, the one way bus ticket was £2 only. the fastest way is by train. i don't know the price, but a day ticket is £6.20 at Queen square, Liverpool.

Train is better. Takes 45 mins. Merseyrail Underground from one of the following stations: James St, Moorfields, Lime St or Central in the City Centre. Every 15 mins during the week. Every 30 mins at weekends. Lime Street is nearest for you. Low level platforms - so down the escalator from the main station concourse.
