This was such a cool video and tribute to these 3 actors that were really good friends in real life and had such energy that they fed off of each other on screen! Lots of good photos from lots of wonderful episodes! Anyone know what episode 0:51 is from, where Adam and Joe are running down the stairs and Adam has his shirt unbuttoned? I don't recognize that one!

khappell2 - Yes it certainly hurts that we never had a chance the meet the great men of the Ponderosa but in our minds we were.

khappell2 - I ask myself the same question myself everytime I see bonanza and the magnificent Cartwrights. I guess we all dreamed about having such a family. I get upset that PR did not fuflfill the contract until the end because without him part of the beauty of this family was gone. Pandorosa was never the same without PR. The four of them made it so perfect. so real and so beautiful. There will never be such a tv family again.. They were absolutelly amazing together and we miss them.

How can four actors, from such varied backgrounds, come together to make a tv family like this? Three brothers and a father, so precious and wonderful (even with the quarrels and challenges), that it hurts not to be a part of it? Ben was the penultimate singe Dad. Breaks my heart that I never got to know any of the great men of the Ponderosa, even tho I belonged there right from my own living room.
