Is this upgradable on ram especially?

Nope. I ended up selling it. Couldn't really upgrade anything and 32gb of storage is way too small

The reason it takes longer in the beginning - is because it performs a RAM check. The more RAM you have, the longer it will take. Also, if you don't need the iPhone and tablets "integration", you don't need 10.11 (El Capitan). Here at our office, we STILL use "Snow Leopard" 10.6.8. On all of our 14 iMacs, laptops, minis, and Towers - It's FAST, and only needs 2 GB of RAM. Just saying...

My Tw110 can no longer charge. Have you any suggestions? How can I reset it if it won’t even turn on?

Hmm I'm not sure. I lost my original charger so I bought this www.amazon.com/your-orders/pop/ref=ppx_yo_mob_b_pop?_encoding=UTF8&gen=canonical&lineItemId=kimnnsqnolkouny&orderId=114-0460707-5341845&packageId=1&returnSummaryId=&returnUnitIndices=&shipmentId=DHwyKWRGP. If it's your charger a new one might help, but I'll have to open mine up again to see if there is a potential problem with the internals that can be fixed

Great review! How’s it holding up? Would you recommend a different 2-in-1? Thinking of getting one solely to watch Netflix and use Google Docs.

Unfortunately the chassis has cracked a little so the build quality is a little suspect, but for Netflix and word processing it should be fine. Also its on sale for $120 right now, but If your looking for something to hold up for longer than a year you might want to look at the other laptops they have to offer

Thanks for the excellent TW110 review, it was very helpful. You mentioned that you opened it up (kudos) to see if you could expand the RAM. Did you get the RAM beyond 4GB, or did you end up concluding that 4GB was the limit?

Thank you! When I opened it I didn't realize how much was taped and cramped together and since I just bought I didn't want to break it. It seems the atom processor inside can only utilize 4 gb anyway, but after having it for a little while I may give it another go to see what's "under the hood"

@@alwaysbroke6533 chrome will not be hardware accelerated on a bay trail processor , edge will be, VLC will be etc. There is a chrome plugin h2ify or something that forces mp4 youtube videos in chrome, you could try that to.

Finally a video of this thing! I just got one today and after I updated Windows 10 to 1803, the entire system install became unstable after reboot. Now I'm doing a factory reset. I don't blame WinBook though for the 1803 garbage update as it's screwed up other computers of mine. It was running perfectly before that so I just won't update it this time. I have the same model, I put 8gb ram a while back, still have same 120gb hdd, yes, needs ssd. Still very happy with this. Runs Pages but not latest version, but it still is the new look version. Can create/edit 2 x 1080p clips in one video in iMovie no problem. You're loading time with ssd is alot quicker than mine. Safari runs great.

@@zactogan8903 Awesome, I just ordered one to use as my main PC, I love MacOS because it's fast and such. :D. Also is an SSD really required or?

@@FreddyStudio Goodo. Don't expect it to be as fast as an SSD, but its usable, not much difference from when brand new, even though its had 7 OS updates. A clean re-install would make it perform better, you could try that. Also, I advise you put in 8gb ram, it makes a noticeable improvement to speed from having just 4gb ram. Mine is running El Capitan.

@Zac Togan Alright, just got the Mac Mini today. Looks like I'm having a ram problem as it gets slow when it's using around 50-60% of ram. Going to get 8GB soon :D

In a BIG way, processor. In SMALL ways: SSD, RAM, more cooling. We use "SSD Fan Control", but many like "Macs Fan Control". Do a duckduckgo.com search and they are free downloads. "Friends don't let friends use Google - they spy on you, track you, and use whatever you write as ammo against you. Don't take MY word for it: search it up yourself.
