All cars can be slightly different in how the resets work but in most to do the reset like on this Mercedes you need to have the adblue full yes. We get fill amounts from Autodata but your manual/handbook for your car should also advise how many litres it holds. Once it’s full you can then use the diagnostics to tell the car it’s full

It was originally one to make some money on but ive already got plans to do way too much to this and the spend might go way above my original plans 😂 It needed too much to spend on it to make it a profit car so it became a channel project car instead.

I’m not a fan of French cars in general but this is just bad service and not checking simple things. Replacing a part that may or may not have been needed but certainly wasn’t the cause of the customers issue. It’s not a great look for them

I’ve not had any issues reading wet tyres that I recall. Occasionally it reads wrong but I haven’t noticed it having anything to do with wet tyres it has happened also when tyres have been dry. And a quick re read and all is well. I will do some more testing on wet tyres though just to be sure. I do use the tool regularly as well and the only issue I have had is when the Autel server went down so it meant I couldnt print a report but it was sorted within a few hours and I was able to print again. That is rare though only twice since I’ve had the tool and I think I’ve had it about 2 years now.

I cant remember exactly but it would have been approx. £250 for that repair. We have a minimum charge floor of £250 in our shop on any job as anything less means us losing money

I would normally agree and we do go with stick on both sides unless wheels come in with knock on weights on the inside edges already then we use them again depending on how far out they are. New wheels always stick on only as well. Only way it can cause a rim leak is if they damage paint then corrosion creeps further in the rim where the tyre seals as a weight itself doesn’t go far enough in to create a rim leak as such but agreed over time and corrosion dependant they may do.

Will just be stuck pal. Remove all the bolts and then use a rubber mallet on the rear of the wheel while turning. You can leave one nut loosely in to stop the wheel falling off when it comes loose

lol. To be fair it’s not a bad van for a 2011 model. Once we have done the rest of the rust which is all minor that’s left it will be a very clean van 👍

Yes the arch is fresh paint and looks more shiny but we are doing the whole lower half of the van in the near future to tidy up small rust scabs in various places. Its a Coffee/Food truck and clean presentation is important to the owner. Im hoping he allows us to paint the whole van and renew the sign writing as well which will allow us to do a very nice clean job with potentially some new livery. We had a set amount of time with the van this visit which only allowed us to do a certain amount of work. We did the annual service along with new rear discs and pads as maintenance work. Then we replaced the arch and did the inner arch welding that was required also. Next visit it will all be painted and will match 😀
