This is an expected situation. There may be slight bleeding. Pressure should be applied for a few minutes.

I dont know if its because im a big guy without much muscle mass but i never know if im in muscle or not. I inject approximately where directed but being so big my body is not shaped like most. I push the pin in as far as i can, aspirate, and if all is well, i inject. Even afterwards i have no way of knowing if it went into muscle or fat/subQ. Is there any way to tell? Thanks guys

Syringe fluid is im form. Not iv. It is generally not appropriate to give IM drugs via the iv route.
