What happens if the red piece is broken? Where would I find that one piece?
@camarobossman27 күн бұрын
If you still have the manual, call the manufacturer and ask them for that piece. Just ask them for the hot side. I would think they would have it since they sent me two replacement cartridges under warranty. I don't have my manual anymore. Wish you the best

@Sertao20132 ай бұрын
You don't have to replace the cartridge just replace the 0-ring . You don't even have to replace he o-ring . Just move the o-ring up and out of the way of its slot and put 2 wraps of yellow teflon gas pipe tape and put the o-ring back in place over the yellow tape and put it back together .

Hey buddy you helped me out so I'll help you out in return with a tip.... you kept saying you don't have a jack.... well there's a hack for that... if there is a narrow ditch or a narrow hole in the yard then you can drive the vehicle over it... not in it but over it.. from there you'll be able to crawl in the ditch to slip under the vehicle easily and have plenty of room to work... I do it all the time... in fact I trust the ditch or a hole in the yard more than I do a jack

How is it holding up I have the same issue fans are very loud
@camarobossman3 ай бұрын
No problem since fixed. Of course stick with OEM fan module or you will be possibly replacing an engine because of and aftermarket replacement failing to turn on the fans at high speed.

Turns out this is exactly my issue. There is a split. Did you use the same clamps and how did you get to them...super tight spot as you know. Crazy thing is that the clamps are facing towards the dash making it even more difficult to get to. Im sure they do this on purpose. LOL Thanks for your help boss!
@camarobossman3 ай бұрын
@@silverbackking laugh out loud, I used a standard pliers. I recommend using a small vise grip though. That way you can let the vise grip hold the clamp while you pull the hose. I was able to get to both of my clamps easy. I hope you don't have to take the intake manifold off just to get to that last clamp. Since the hose is broke anyway, technically you can cut it with a scissors and turn the remaining clamp by hand to get it off the intake manifold. Keep me updated.... These clamps are very easy to turn by hand to wiggle them off once you have the hose cut. You can then position the clamps exactly the way you need them when you put the clamp on the new hose

You need a tool we call a Pick Sticker .. You can make it yourself, just a couple of different sizes of sewing needles mounted into a wood or plastic dowel.

How high up in the container should fluid be
@camarobossman5 ай бұрын
@@JanetDurham-el2bq fill it up to the cold full level. Then check it after your car is driven for a while it should raise to the hot level mark. Let it sit overnight and check it again and see if it went back to cold. If it's at the correct level you are done with topping off correctly.

Extremely helpful video, thank you. I really appreciate you going step-by-step and explaining the whole way. I have the same sink and was getting low pressure on the hot side. Replaced the aerator, valve, faucet line, and cleared the main supply. With your video, I washed and cleaned the parts you removed and the pressure is fantastic now. Contacting Lowes now for a replacement of both cartridges.

Did this myself, thanks. However the moment I tighten the pressure hose bolt into the rack, The steering wheel gets completely stiff locked up. If I crack the nut just barely loose enough to leak, the wheel is loose and free again, but will lock up the moment I tighten the bolt. What could be the issue?? Please advise.
