Wowww!!! This is the closest I have ever seen to old 35mm film. This reminds me of Lost in Translation or the colors of Female Prisoner: Scorpion. ❤ Please, post more of these videos- im definitely subscribing. Also I am curious, how do you color grade? Do you edit it in the Super16 App? Do you pick a preset and then edit it from there? I'm curious, thank you very much❤

hey, i have just watched all of your videos they’re amazing and i’m feeling super inspired. i’m looking to make little city pov mood videos like yours, which do you recommend more the Lumix LX3 or Nikon 7700?

hey i recently found this same old camera at my parents place and decided to take it. this is the first digital camera i am trying to start taking photos and videos with. do you have any basic tips on how to get a good picture with this camera? i use davinci resolve. would be very happy to get some, thanks!
@CAMERARESURGENCEАй бұрын
Sorry for the late reply! When I shoot videos with the P7700, I always use manual settings. Also, I recommend avoiding using auto white balance. If you're doing color grading in DaVinci Resolve, I suggest using a plugin like Dehancer to give your footage a film-like finish.

The video output was much more interesting than the photo still images. Did you use a LUT? The videography was far more moody , cinematic and atmospheric than the plain images of the P7100.

Hi there, I'm a photographer working in South Korea. I’m currently using a Nikon P7100 and a Canon G10, both of which I’m really drawn to because they're As I mentioned earlier, I'm a commercial photographer, and I’d like to use these cameras for my commercial work. Recently, I tried doing a flash sync test because I wanted to use studio flashes with Godox triggers (X2T, X3) and a couple of universal triggers. Surprisingly, the G10 worked just fine, but the P7100 just wouldn’t sync I thought my P7100 might be faulty, so I bought another one of the same model. Now I have two P7100s, but strangely, the new one works perfectly fine with the flash sync! So, I’m really curious-when you use external triggers or speedlights, do you have any issues with the sync not working, like I did? (Oh, and by the way, I can use optical sync with the built-in flash, but I really don’t want to do that. I only want to rely on triggers for my studio lighting setup.) I’m not trying to push too hard to test something that might not be relevant if you don’t normally use triggers or speedlights. I’m just asking out of curiosity because, with it being such an old model and not widely used, I couldn’t find much information about it. I even contacted the Nikon service center in Korea, but they didn’t really have a helpful response and were quite skeptical about the triggers working with the P7100. Thanks so much for reading this, and I really appreciate any insight you might have! I hope only good things come your way, and thanks again for the wonderful conversations and advice!

Thank you for your comment! Since only one of the P7100s didn't sync properly with the flash, maybe it's a contact issue or the firmware is old. I tried looking for comments about the P7100 from around 2012, and it seems there were troubles when using third-party products.
언더톤으로 촬영된 영상이 너무 아름답네요! 혹시 이 톤을 염두 하시고 촬영 하신건가요? 아니면 후반 작업에서 톤을 다운 시킨 것인가요~?

apart from lumix lx and fz, which series of lumix you'd also recommend, its hard to find a decent lumix lx3 in my place, how about the lumix FH? there's so many seires i lost count haha, looking to find as similar as LX3
@CAMERARESURGENCE2 ай бұрын
It's true that with so many options available, it's hard to decide what to choose. The Lumix FH series is great, but how about the Lumix FX100, which was released in 2007? While it doesn't get as much attention compared to the LX series, I personally think it's quite good. The lens might not be as bright, but the sensor size is almost the same as the LX3. Plus, it can usually be found at a lower price than the LX3, making it a more affordable option.
@salmantorik60912 ай бұрын
@@CAMERARESURGENCE wow, thank you so much for the immediate response, i love how you elaborate the details, i actually have never knew before about the specs of FX is similar to LX, i'll add that to my list, how about the SZ?. as for now im currently saving haha, maybe if i got the cam ill post the results, thanks again!
@CAMERARESURGENCE2 ай бұрын
I don't have the SZ series, so I can't say for sure. But if you can't get your hands on the LX series, I'd definitely recommend the FX100. Keep saving up, and good luck!

@CAMERARESURGENCE3 ай бұрын
I color grade and edit this video on my smartphone. I used Video Converter, Super16, and VN. In Video Converter, I set the bitrate to 200% when converting to mp4. For more thorough color grading, I use DaVinci Resolve.
