Hi, the version I used has the snare part, it is complete without modifications. I just balanced the tracks.

Sheet has some errors (or your sight read had). ie: bar 7 you played slurred rolls (and they are not written), bar 8 you ended with a quarter... and so on. Nice post anyway, but people should be carefoul as it has some issues.

It’s the Remo Diplomat Coated M5, it is thinner than a regular Diplomat.

You're ahead to my ears. But perhaps in an orchestra, it will sound in time due to the distance between the snare drummer and the front of the orchestra.

Thank you! The recording is original, there are also percussions. I adjusted the track levels to make the snare stand out more.

Amazing sound quality! Im wondering if this is in swing, as your dotted eight+a sixteenth patterns sound more like sixtuplet subdivisions rather than sixteenth notes 🤨

The terminating note of the roll is softer than the other single notes. Make sure those notes aren’t being swallowed by the roll.

The flams plump up the sound in a subtle way. If you're into the ruff stuff, best to open up a jar of Sousa.

Would you recommend a 14x4 Phillarmonic brass or a 14x5 if i already had a Maple Yamaha Concert 14x6.5? for playing with an orchestra

Hi, if you already have a 6.5" deep drum, maybe I would recommend a 14"x4", so that you can have more tonal diversity, also depending on the repertoire.

The recording doesn't do the piece justice. All the listener can really hear is the piano. The vocals are almost drowned. Gonna look for a better r😂vording.
