Love the milani one but mostly cause the one I have strawberry leaves slight red tint. It’s the only lip oil I haven’t thrown out.

As someone pale and rather cool toned I was actually happy about the contour stick. Most of my makeup loving life products like foundation, concealer, etc have been a struggle to find a match. There is definitely a lot more choices out there for me now that doesn't make me look like a ghost or oopma loompa but we still tend not have as many choices as some other. Also I have seen other videos on the Harley Quinn lipsticks where the glitter definitely came out for them. I will be trying mine this weekend hopefully.

i never stopped doing my eyes like this 🤣 i get the twist up kohl eyeliners now, because i literally sliced my eyeball open with jagged edges from old, janky wooden pencils and i decided to work smarter, not correct my idiocy 🤣 the way i get it heavier on the under waterline bit (don’t come for me, i’m just a gal 🤣) is i screw my eyes up a little more when applying the liner. i literally close my eyes and just run the liner along my closed eye slit four or five times, and then smudge with my finger 🤣 if i cba to do a full face, that’s all i do, and my eyes stand out just enough for me to feel human 😁

Honestly I still definitely want quite a few of these items, but the thing I hate about collections is that I want everything but when all is said and done it's way too much money for stuff I might only use tops 3 times. I have begun feeling more and more that themed collections tend to be geared towards the tween/teen age range but with these nostalgic collabs it is bringing many of us back to that fun and playful era where makeup was just about having fun. Idk its like it gives me permission to have fun with mg makeup again and I love that. But with a more discerning eye and taste I totally agree that the quality does leave me wanting on a lot of it. And yet I feel like I can't complain too much because "It's just for fun, right?" So that's where we get caught, torn between wanting to buy it all and feeling like is it really worth the money?

So this won’t work for dry or leer skin with wrinkles. Seems it’s making it stand out more. Gonna wear it out throughout the day. I sweat while clewing. Been humid. Maybe it will even out and set better.

I just buy inexpensive tops in solid colors or textured materials that feel much more lux than they are... Then, I layer, layer, layer coordinating and contrasting fabrics and textures to create my "textile story" for the day.... A lot of my camisoles, tanks, or even cap-sleeved underpinnings are super junior... But it's amazing what happens when you start layering in things that look "cheap" on their own (like silk-spun poly satin, crushed velvets, leather/pleather/ultrasuede, dollar store down trim, faux fur, etc)... It's the scantness of fabric that makes a lot of junior items look cheap, not the individual textile itself, I add weight by taking inspiration from old world interior decor where it was really VOLUME and VARIETY of materials that made the palaces look so lux and opulent (it takes money to buy more materials), and apply those ideas to layering tanks, cardis, scarves, coats, and so on over various pants, skirts, dresses, and the like. Just make sure your jewelry doesn't look cheap, try to spring for precious metals, semi-precious gems/glass, as there is nothing that tricks the eye so well into believing a person is of substance than weighty pieces that properly reflect/refract light (and there is nothing that cheapens a look faster than bad costume jewelry and/or poorly applied cosmetics). My wardrobe essentially never goes out of style, so I only end up retiring/upcycling pieces because they are simply too worn to wear in their original form any longer, and all I'm ever doing is adding in fresh textiles that appeal to me any place I might see them. But when everything is a solid color or classic silhouette/pattern/print/texture, no one thing really CAN go out of style, you just end up changing which other colors and shapes you wear it with.
