Paco is amazing as ever - so much soul passion, integrity. But McLaughlin spoils everything with his boring soulless shredding. I don't know what went wrong - JM's acoustic playing was genius with Shakti and on My Goal's Beyond - but by the end of the 70s JM loses his mojo. He's still got his super-fast technique but he's got nothing to say.

I got this record in my early twenties. This song just gave me gossebumps. Paco was on fire here. Everyone . The singing is so beautiful. "Solo quiero caminar" could mean "only" or "alone". It is about being free, finding your pulse and not being afraid of being alone.
