I'm shocked that nobody adopted Naomi yet, perhaps she belongs to the people?

I hate that there's a prejudice, rooted in superstition, against black cats. They often have the best temperaments, but aren't adopted or admired as much as other breeds.

Many countries like Spain and UK like to think they were first in discoveries. Historical bs The people whose land was stolen disagree. Ps. Never argue with a closed mind.

The US pays them for the sin against them by taking over Bikini Atoll to test nuclear weapons, effectively wiped out their homes and livelihood .So the US pays them compensation for loss. Then comes the Compact with them ,US keeps paying them to bribe them to keep the pact . Marshall Islands has one the robust GDP of Oceania partly due to the welfare from the USA . So why bus, bikes if they can afford cars.

Once upon a time there was a man who found himself on a desolate island. He wasn't your average working man. He had an artistic mind and wanted to leave his mark before his inevitable death. It was no miracle and no work of science. Just a man carving a rock. Something man could always do but no men do, His mark meant nothing deep. It survived much longer. Theres nothing mkre to the story.

Rest in peace David Bowie, humanity did a lot of bad things, but, when humanity does beautiful and great things, it's really amazing 🤧 ❤ I don't have the words

And it's not just a name. In 1989 I was in a car accident with a drunk driver named Tonya Harding. This particular woman was not (at the time) a quite good and famous ice skater. This Tonya Harding was just a drunk driver who ran a red light.

I'm always skeptical when somebody takes the time to make a hit piece . On one person. Out of the goodness of our heart to protect large multinational companies. you didn't give me that warm fuzzy feeling. it smells a little bit like money.

I ran across this story during my extensive research of the written history and anthropology of Micronesia in the 1970s. It stuck with me all these years. But I couldn't remember quite where I'd seen it and never found it again. I'm so glad to run across this. I only remember the story of him ingratiating himself to the locals through dancing a jig, and thus likely saving his life and that of the other mates. I imagine those others who are lost to history left a little DNA on the other side of the island.

at 4:29 the person on screen with cat on lap is doing that thing where the animal is on your lap and then you suddenly realise that your legs are shaking because you've had your feet pointed to tippy-toes to keep the surface level for the cat to sit comfortably without sliding off and you don't realise you've been holding the pose until your legs are shaking i swear that that is what we're witnessing here
@RareEarthSeries2 күн бұрын
That is accurate, but she's also trying to balance the cat who is not used to being on a lap
