This game was one of my most anticipated games when I saw the announcement last year. Now I played the demo and I just can't wait to get my hands on the full release. It's truly phenomenon. Just what I expected from a Persona game

Except .. it's not a Persona game. 😉

Wow. I was expecting the music to be more contemporary, maybe because I think Persona/Shin Megami Tensei when I see Shibuya. I'm very interested to hear your thoughts on the game itself as you play it.

Working on the video! If you're interested in Shimomura's work on Reynatis, there have been several interviews - this is a good one: www.thegamer.com/reynatis-interview-takumi-isobe-kazuhige-nojima-yoko-shimomura-kingdom-hearts-the-world-ends-with-you-twewy/ You need to scroll down to section: Legendary Composer Yoko Shimomura On Reynatis' Orchestral OST.

I don't like the OST for the game. I do enjoy the gameplay. It reminds me of exactly like Person 5.

I found a certain comfort watching this. It wasn’t just the gaming aspect, but also the way you described going through tough times in life and how unpredictable life can be if you try something new. For you, it was gaming. As for me, it was stepping out of my introverted comfort zone and taking up boxing during my hard time. I also really loved how Neptunia and Atelier helped you navigate through it all

Wow you changed my point of view with this video. At first I thougth that the fantasy book was refering only to our world, but now that you mentioned the Utopia reference it makes much more sense, I cannot believe that I didn't get that reference. What a fantastic video, I'll be waiting for your unboxing video. Saludos desde Argentina.

Like many, I got into Fire Emblem thanks to Awakening! I was around 12 years old, and experienced it for my first time on my brother's 3ds. A few years later I got Echoes. I loved it, but somehow, until recently I never got around to buying all the other titles. It was when I found a discounted Divine Edition of Engage that my passion reignited, and now I'm looking to play most of the games in order. Hearing you talk about Fire Emblem is a delight! May ask what you favourite FE game is? I always look forward to your lovely videos, Britta! ❤

That's difficult to answer bc there are a few titles I never had access to - Path of Radiance & Radiant Dawn in particular. However, apart from Echoes of course, my abiding fondness is for the older, classic titles. The two I started out with are still close to my heart: Fire Emblem (The Blazing Blade) and Shadow Dragon.

@@Food4Dogs Ah yes, the Tellius struggle is real... how I wish those games were ported on Switch... Thanks for answering, I can't wait to get around to playing all of them! Much love from Italy!

@@ashcrow1356 The Blazing Blade is actually available on Switch .. well, via the Online Service (+ Expansion Pack!). Yikes - these games really should be available as a downloadable purchasable option. kzbin.info/www/bejne/joKZYayCodiCr68

Hello Britta! I really enjoy watching your videos, and have been excited for Metaphor for a long while. I did not know about More's work, and the connections it had with the game! It piqued my interest, and I decided to buy the novel to read alongside my playthrougth. I'm excited at what ATLUS has created. The game feels really special.

Interesting how Atlus put so much renaissance stuff in here. Especially Da Vinci. I sadly only knew he was Italian and that he would spend years running from work he didn't like. This game looks really interesting. But my backlog is too big already and I do not have a system that can run this game. And Atlus games have never really been for me either. I think the stories are interesting, but most of SMT and Persona is just not stuff I want to play. But still, I hope you enjoy Metaphor Britta. I myself am too busy working on my midlog. There are 2 games on my Switch I never finished and that I want to get through in a timely manner. After I beat Azure. Which might take a while. I also still have issues with my body. I should stop consuming so much caffeine! It is really bad for me! I hope you are doing better. I really need to slow down my caffeine consumption.

I guess that's a bit sad for KZbin, bc I'm 72 😁 But .. joking aside .. I see some good channels on KZbin, but admittedly you have to look hard and not be blinded by the mega-size ones with screaming thumbnails.

It really feels like a compilation of Altus' work, the music is a strong evocation of SMT Strange Journey, the systems themselves a fusion of their previous works with even a hint a Etrian Odyssey

I've also heard commentary about the boss designs and how strongly they are inspired by Hieronymus Bosch, yet another Renaissance artist. I think Atlus went for a wider variety in architectural influences throughout the time periods, but I'm not complaining: I adore the 19th and early 20th century buildings in the Capital, they remind me of Vienna and Paris!
@Food4Dogs3 күн бұрын
I agree - that's the great thing about Atlus developers, they're confident enough to roam wide and freely, without ever losing sight of the main theme and story drive.
@Nopetryagainguys3 күн бұрын
I remember in some of the early promotional material for the game they had you fighting a boss that was essentially ripped out of Hieronymus Bosch’s Garden of Earthly Delights triptych painting. Super excited to see how else the renaissance theme will influence enemy design and other aspects of the game as well!
