Thats not a moronic law, it was made to stop BMX'rs from riding in empty pools. There is no such thing as a moronic law. It's just a potentially interesting story that led to it becoming a law.
@lawyergordi2 күн бұрын
That's a great way to look at it

@lawyergordi Basically some asshole(s) pushed it too far and enough people complained. Or someone got hurt. Thats how laws get made. I mean, from there, there is the whole chain of lobbying and etc. But it always starts with somebody ruining the fun OR somebody important enough getting hurt

I think a single question can be asked: Do you want to help people, or make money? It is hard to believe you can be both. However, I am very bias and get really annoyed that many lawyers seem to play by a mentality of, "Winning" rather then ensuring the trial is fair. (Way to many people who are guilty, get off the hook because of some obscure technicality.)

Section 6 of the Compulsory Insurance Act (PflVG) stipulates that driving without insurance cover is a criminal offence. Among other things, there is a risk of revocation of the driver's license, a fine of up to 180 daily rates or imprisonment of up to one year.

100% right! Addressing foot health is often overlooked but crucial for overall well-being. Research shows that over 70% of people experience foot problems due to poor footwear choices. This often stems from a lack of awareness about proper support, while ignoring these issues can lead to long-term discomfort. I faced similar challenges, and after trying various approaches, my friend recommended Habit10x. I joined their habit-building program, and it helped me prioritize my health in every aspect, including fashion. Found them through Google!

I love that since people have become less reliant on biased media sources and moreso on social media, the narrative has switched from lawyers being the snakes to insurance companies and monopolies being the snakes.

Between all three parties, the ONLY victim is the one who pays the retainer and insurance premiums. As an insurance company, whose sole purpose is sold to us as “PROTECTION”, it is merely legally required of us to participate only to be denied and harassed, thereby making us seek legal help. Insurance company…WIN ATTORNEY…WIN Patient and consumer…LOSS

Our ethical duty as attorneys is to protect our clients’ interests meaning ensuring they’re fairly compensated by a negligent at-fault driver’s insurance co.
@paulslater9555Ай бұрын
@@lawyergordi I’m not questioning the ethical duty to attorneys. I’m just stating the fact that it’s the client who loses overall.
