The way Elizabeth and Evangeline played Juliet and Kate's relationship indicates a strong possibility of an sexual attraction. The chemistry those two actors have makes it impossible to see their characters simply having a rivalry over a man's loyalty. Every time Elizabeth and Evangeline have a scene together you can just feel the fraught tension between them that there's something deeper going on. In this scene, Juliet almost looks like turned on after she flipped Kate to the ground. Evangeline and Elizabeth had joked about their characters ending up together on the show.

I really don’t think Jack would even know what to do with a woman like Juliet 😂

I think Jack getting to a point where he was willing to kill John showed how manipulative the MiB was and how he was able to bring down so many civilizations that came to the island. Prior to this scene John couldn't kill his father who abandoned his mother and him, tricked him to get his kidney, and caused is breakup with his girlfriend which was his one chance at happiness. But John could not kill his father to join the Others and become their leader. Then after Ben shoots John and leaves him dead in grave, the MiB shows up looking like Walt and convinces John who isn't a killer to kill Naomi in front of Jack. In the last season, we later find out Naomi was also a candidate and the MiB has candidate or other people kill them. Jack thought Naomi was going to save everyone and since John destroyed the sub and attempted to destroy a second chance for Jack to leave the island, Jack lost it and would have killed John if there was a bullet in the gun. I am sure the MiB also did a same thing with the French team when they came on the island and had them turn on each other.

It's interesting that no one wants to state outright that Jack tried to murder Locke. Was it so important to pretend that Jack didn't cross the line, morally?

Kate is far more interested in Juliet than being jealous about Jack.

Juliet wanted to get off the island so desperately that she was willing to kill anyone who gets in her way. No wonder she was the one who planted the seed in Michael's head about killing Ana-Lucia and Libby to get his son back. Juliet is ready to sacrifice her morality to get back to her sister. When Juliet says "If you have to, kill them" there is no sign of humanity there. None. You can tell that Jack is genuinely frightened by Juliet in this scene. The way she switches on and off her humanity is very scary.

Sawyer and Juliet's Love theme! They were so gonna kiss in this scene. The reason why Sawyer didn't go to Kate in the jungle earlier was because of Juliet. She's been on his mind so much lately that he's unable to shake her. When Kate disappeared after the flash happened, he was so shaken because he realized that he's really falling in love with Juliet and it terrifies him. She's become so important to him at this point that he doesn't wanna risk losing her which is why he's so crushed when she has nose bleed.

Locke totally sees Sawyer and Juliet's growing connection. When Sawyer says "It doesn't matter what i want" he's thinking about Juliet.

The sincere 'thank you' Juliet gave Locke there was the only appreciation he ever got while alive.

Juliet has the best sense of humor 😂 She's always known more about the island then she's let on. I love how Juliet just gets Sawyer here. She knows the reason why he's so upset is because he thinks that his sacrifice was in vain when he says "I know what i can't change". He's saying that he can't change himself. But when Juliet touches his arm, he softens on instant because he sees her as his redemption.

When Sawyer sees Juliet pointing a gun at Kate with zero emotion on her face that's when he knew he's met his match. He was truly intimated by her very demeanor. Juliet both scared and attracted Sawyer.
