It was my childhood game too! I introduced myself to the game again a couple of years ago, and it's even better on the Reborn mod. I'd recommend it 👌

@@ozbro__ Sorry for the inconvenience but when I was messing around with overspawns today, I've noticed that my FPS drop to like 1-3. How do you manage to keep the game smooth while over crowding? I couldn't find any solution online and I dare to say that I've got quite a good gaming setup for a 2000's game :D

I'm not too sure, man. I dropped setting too low in the game recently, and it helped, but other than that maybe too much overspawns can effect it 🤣

Thanks so much! It could be that you might be playing on an earlier version of Reborn. They updated a few weapons in the new update

@@ozbro__ ah, be warned. In my game experience, the soldiers respawn everytime you get out of there. So if you get in, dispatch the folks, get out and get in again, they will respawn

@@ozbro__ ooo battlemage? I think there was a set for it, you had a Sword and a shield + more body pieces, but I never Tried it. Shame that Ascaron went bankrupt. There wasn’t enough people to buy the game + the German developers were influential only in Europe. In the USA nobody was aware of Sacred, so eventually the game didn’t sell enough copies. And yeah the rest is history. Maybe we can play together if you want, I am only free in the weekends. And I’ll show you some places I know for some cool items.

But how do you get to niobium? like whats your way of leveling to even be able to enter niobium plus i find it relatively hard to kill the sakkara demons (on level) with most characters--

@@xyranon2622 You just grind mobs, the desert is a really good place to lvl up fast. When you're above their lvl you then move to the next difficulty: silver, gold, etc.

I actually don't know how to. This game is old, and it's a bit more complicated than today's games

You need to have the full set of religious item in your inventory, you can randomly get them like all the other set items

@albert-m3d there are Icon items that are special, and you need to find all of them for that effect. They're hard to come across

@dalazo if you haven't tried the reborn mod yet, I'd recommend it they changed a few things, but I only noticed while playing again

@@ozbro__ Well I havent even tried the base game (and exp)! Hence why Im not so sure if its a better experience to play the vanilla game before the mod.

@dalazo vanilla sacred is still fun to play, and even if you were to start playing the reborn mod after, all your progress will still be there, so you won't have to start again

@@ozbro__ I was more worried about running it on a modern OS (win 10) since (from what I gather) the game is prone to crashes and you need to do some DGvoodoo shitz along with some other stuff to make it run better and whilst "learning about this" (kind of expected it anyway) I noticed people saying Reborn takes care of that stuff more easily, but upon reading the Reborn stuff I saw the main point was that it's harder and has added content, so I just wasn't sure what would be the more authentic Sacred experience (obviously vanilla, but I've played some community patches on other older games and usually they are well worth it).

@@dalazo the Reborn mod does have a lol less crashes, it's not often the game crashes on me, also the Reborn mod isn't that much harder then Vanilla because they've also tweaked the main characters too
