UGA has the No. 1 toughest schedule. If they beat Tennessee they’re in. Other teams being considered if they finish 10-2 don’t have the same quality schedule or losses.

Texas from the way I feel is about to go on a run as well. If the offense shows up and goes on a run Texas is still a top 4 team. The defense has been consistent the whole time. All they need was the offense to come around. These last 4 games including Florida will show Texas going in a run to make them favorites once again

If Carolina wins out, beats Clemson by a few scores, A&M wins the SEC championship and Clemson wins the ACC championship I don't see how they leave USC out of the playoffs having beaten 2 conference champions that are in the playoffs.

I'm 6-0 for South Carolina. Because I knew that we would beat ODU and Kentucky and Akron and OU and A&M and Vandy. Yeah I will be 7-0 for South Carolina when they beat Mizzou 49-10.

I hope I'm wrong, but as a Gamecock fan, I feel like I've seen "this" game many times before. Gamecocks are riding high, all the confidence in the world. Game's at home. Missouri has been a big thorn for the Gamecocks in recent years. It's probably going to be a nailbiter; I just hope we can pull it out. Please not another heartbreak.

Years ago Clemson had a bad loss to Syracuse because Kelly Bryant got hurt. The committee said you can’t penalize a team because the qb was hurt and they put Clemson in. Same thing should go for Sellers getting hurt against LSU

The going for it on 4th down in our own territory giving Ole Miss an easy touchdown set the stage for that game. It was idiotic to even do that.

SC should be 7-2. LSU was gifted the victory. Several times. The program just plays too hard of a schedule and next year is even harder with VT on the schedule. They probably don’t have any more chance next year.

If the conversation comes down to quality of loss look no further than SC. We aren't just beating teams. we are blowing them out of the water. And you forget about the Kentucky game. WE absolutely handled them as well.

SC feels like they’d be the only 3 loss team to have a chance at the playoffs if the cards fall correctly. No other team has had the SOS and would be finishing as strong (assuming the last 3 wins are dominant)

MS game looks far worse than it was. Carolina’s offense shot themselves in the foot by turning the ball over on three straight possessions. MS scored 3 points in the 2nd half. Unfortunately Carolina scored zero 2nd half points. You won’t beat a crappy team turning the ball over 3 straight times, giving them a short field. You certainly won’t beat MS doing that. Score should have been more like 13-10

Confused, how can we say SC is a top team playing right now, honestly more consistent these last three game about beating good teams and not put them in the playoffs? If they blow everyone the rest of the way, they will have a 6 game winning streak, beating 4 ranked teams at the time they played them. Also do we not take into account that losing the QB during the LSU game factored into them losing?

Fun for the players, but it is serious play time now. SC is proving they belong. Exciting ball for now and ahead. But Drinkwitz scares me. He has Carolina's numbers. Gonna be a hard fought great game.

I got South Carolina winning the same as last week 38 - 7 because Missouri and vandy are pretty much the same but since it’s in South Carolina I got em starting off fast and scoring a little more than 28

Ole Miss game... Ole Miss got two easy TDs in the first quarter off a stupid 4 and out in our own territory and a fumble. The other TD they scored on a 2 minute drill at the end of the half. Only a field goal in the second half. That loss is on Loggains for not having that offense at all prepared. That was our offense's rock bottom performance. If offense had a fraction of what it found since I think it's a under 20 point game and we possibly win. Defense can't win when the offense gifts Ole Miss 2 easy TDs to start. That was a winnable game but we did little right other than the second half defense.

I believe south carolina defense would keep them in any game in the playoff.and sellers ain't a freshman no more I think if they was in a playoff there capable of winning the national championship. They undefeated against the old east this year and would have played Tennessee and Georgia in William bri e this year.neiter one would have a chance

How can a QB who threw an interception; at that point, becomes a defensive player to his interception, get a roughing the QB penalty against south carolina when the QB is no longer quarterbacking.

Gamecocks have been underdogs in every single SEC game this year until they were made a 3-point favorite to beat Vandy. Now suddenly against a team with a better record that has had Shane Beamer's number so far, they are installed as a two touchdown favorite? That's a little worrisome. There's always been something about Mizzou that makes these games unbelievably ugly, and although I think South Carolina is the better team and Williams-Brice delivers a genuine home field advantage, I won't be at all surprised if Mizzou somehow finds a way to turn it into another slog...but hopefully not this time.

Maybe Vegas is trying to overcompensate. Gamecocks have obliterated the lines in four straight games. @ Alabama, +19.5 (actual +2) @ Oklahoma, -2.5 (actual -26) vs Texas A&M, +3.5 (actual -24) @ Vanderbilt, -5.5 (actual -21) Thats an average difference of 21 points between the spread and actual score, all favoring the gamecocks. Seems like betting markets are trying to adjust to make the lines more enticing. I think the final line will be about Carolina -7.5. If gamecocks keep executing then I expect the final score margin to be something like -11.

Not happening my friend. The Gamecocks are on a mission this year and its not stopping next year. Beamer has the right stuff going right now and this season will do us wonders on the recruiting trail and the portal. I think really good things are ahead for the Gamecocks for the next few years....

@@willmiddleton9199 I'm just saying stay cautious. I know Beamer is preaching to the team not to take any of these teams lightly. I've also been praising Beamer's recruiting and coaching since he arrived, and it seemed I was usually alone in comments and streams last season when a whole silo worth of rats were claiming Beamer wasn't right for the job. They just completely took it for granted that we were winning 5-star and 4-star recruits going against the likes of Bama, Georgia, and of course Clemson. That Beamer's staff had put together the best O-line recruiting classes in Gamecock history; and how it used to be a miracle for SC to even get a 4-star QB, we suddenly had a QB room filled with 4-stars who were backing up a 5-star.Don't even need to mention bringing in the likes of Shawn Elliot, Torian Gray, and Travian Robertson.
