Hello I just saw your channel and I’m impressed with your fishing. Just curious what brand of boat do you have, it looks like the ultimate boat?

Where i come from we put three milk jugs on our lines. One on each end and one in the middle. We also use snap rings with swivels so we dont loose any fish plus it doesn't get tangled up.

I'd suggest using snap rings and removing the hooks as you go. I had a big cat make a run and role around and pop my bank line one time up on Boone Lake before the dam had to be repaired. I was glad I didn't have my hand wrapped around the line or a hook in my arm. NICE FISH. THANKS 😊

I use 300# swivels and ss snap hooks. Always had a neck knife too. Ran alot by myself.

I use those for the first time a couple years back and was the last time I lost a real big cat on my line

@randlerichardson58262 жыл бұрын
We use to put limb lines out here but people got to where they were particular good for other people to. Between us 3 we would put out around 150 limb lines 50 apiece here per. We would do good until the stinking gar would move in. Y’all know what that means

New subscriber here 😀 , excellent and informative video. Been doing this type of fishing (well actually ALL types of fishing lol 🎣 🐟 🐠 ) my whole life (34yrs old now) and I can tell you know your stuff and know how to live the angler lifestyle!!! Keep it up! Edit: p.s.---- I live in mid-western ohio on the Indiana border only an hour drive to the Ohio River on the Kentucky/Ohio border, and 10 minutes from whitewater river near Richmond Indiana. Multiple smaller streams and creeks that I fish and also trot line...and most would very surprised at the size of the fish you can catch in smaller bodies of moving water, and the effectiveness of rigging stationary lines with live bait, especially on log jams and the deeper/rocky-bottomed "S" bends in those streams. It really is a learned art figuring out how to properly set fixed/jug lines, but once you do, you'll never go hungry!!!!
