Данный интервал не сменить на всех двс Е серии. Зависит от двс и установленного эбу. Дело в этом.

Hi doc, is it possible to make a video about how to do region changes for imported cars, for example Speedo conversion from kmh to mph and also navigation system. I think this would get many views with lots of people now importing g series bmw from Japan and Asian countries to different countries. Thanks doc.

See esys for dummies part 2 You will get the idea how to do that. But conversion from Japan to any other region will not work so straight forward unfortunately

I have a 2018 F30 BMW 318i LCI and I tried using the BMW SHM Lite version you shared on your Google Drive. I can successfully connect to the car, get the IP address and click start, but after the head unit restarted my old service history with the new service is completely missing from the head unit. I included all the previous information before hitting write and saved the file before writing to the car. Do you know what I could try to fix this? Also I tried using EasyConnect.exe and it gives an error when opening it. The error is "Ediabas directory path does not exists". I've copied the 4 folders as well as SHM to my C: directory. Any advice?

If it’s called KLE then yes coding is needed. And not only coding. There is ISN stored as well. So not so straight forward.

At the moment win laptop is needed. For Mac you can install win on parallels. Then it will work.

Vladimir great video as always. I have one question when you save previous coding options and then you VO code the ecu. Then later code back the previously saved cafd file would it then remove the vo coded options that came by default?

Thing to understand. VO coding writes all values based on VO Editing CAFD writes modifications into ECU. So if you save CAFD, then VO code ECU and then write CAFD back to ECU, then the last actin matters. So both of them overwrite each other.

Один момент с BMW Display Key, если им долго не пользоваться то он разрядиться в ноль и отважиться от машины. иммобилайзер в ключе будет работать. Даже после зарядки кнопки не будут работать, данные на дисплее будут как с завода, поможет только подключение ключ проводом, в G11 в usb подлакотника, ключ привязался за 5 сек без каких либо манипуляций

Да можно чикнуть без отключения ЭГР. И да эгр снижает температуру работы двс.

Ищите по части ключевого слова. Если приборка расширенная или LCD то должен быть параметр.

So, I bougt the ENET cable and hooked it up, waited 30 seconds, then inserted through ethernet directly. Ethernet could not recognise/establish connection whatsover. Do I have to install ENET wondows drivers first? O, i have a BMW i3 2020

No installation is required. Sometimes enet is faulty.

After software update in DDE you need to do Chiptuning again. You cannot save and use it later. New software means new parameters inside and that’s why old chip will not suite any more. Replaced EGS is not a problem. You cannot save update that. SW update does not touch ISN part of EGS. (There might be exceptions depends on the methods you used to replace EGS)

Hi man, this channel is awesome! I've learned so much already. Could you help me with doing the same process of removing a module from SVT but *after* the module is already disconnected? I have replaced my HK Amplifier with an aftermarket MOST-based solution and removed my SCR module. ISTA shows both as red (no communication possible) but when I try to follow your steps, ESYS does not show either of them even when reading from VCM. Is there a way to still remove them from SVT even though there is nothing to click "delete" on in ESYS? Thanks!

Yes there is a way 😉 The problem is that on older ista version it was enough of actions as I’ve shown in current video. But newer istas do calculate SVT (for SCR) automatically but differently.

Hello I have done the LCI upgrade but it is now effecting the radio DAB signal. Every time I apply the brake it cuts out the radio signal. Has anyone else got this problem? what could fix it.

@@BimDoc After install your softpack v6, I cant connect to car with ISTA anymore. I can see that EDIBAS v7.3.0 now opens when trying to connect. I didnt have this before when i could connect to ISTA

Hi, It is possible to change from USA to Europe But not to any other region from Japan 🇯🇵 Japanese BMWs are very specific. Programming is required before changes can be made.
