So the sensor has a place on the back side where it clips up into and has the connection on the back side. The sensor is a plug and play. You shouldn't have to do anything else after that. Any more questions, just ask.

Sorry about that I'll correct thank you for let me know. Again sorry for the mistake.

It won't come out just by removing the glove box. It's attached to the back of the passenger dash by hookes on the airbag. That you have to kinda twisted it and then I comes out but there's no space there for you to do that unless you remove the hvac on the car where the cabin filter goes. My method is a long process and good. And definitely fast than remover the hvac. Let me know if you have any question or need more help.

Unfortunately you would need to remove the passenger airbag but you can replace just the dash but you need to remove the airbag. Don't forget to remove the positive or negative from the battery first every time when working with airbags.

@@jmorales5407 got the dash up but holy hell, prying out the airbag takes a lot of patience. Using a clip pry tool helped immensely

Try adjusting the clips so the can make a better snug fit. I'm pretty sure you checked to see if any were broken. But it should not lift easy without a little bit of pressure.

I have done a few without disconnecting the battery but to play it safe you should disconnect the battery.

Did you also replace the crash sensors in the front?

@@johnwillyn are there any code for the airbag or seat belts. That the best place to start. That will let you know what set off during the accident and know what to replace.

If you get hit on the left side of the vehicle dead center and the seat airbag and side curtain airbag deploys do you have to replace a crash sensor then? I was planning on sending the srs module to a reset spot for the crash data I changed all airbags and driver seatbelt now it's time to get rid of the srs light

Yes this module controls the air bags the seat belts, seat buckles, the crash sensors. But if your seat belt is lock then you have to get a new one unfortunately once the lock there is no fixing it, only replace.

Replace or initialize the module won't do anything for you if your seat belt is lock and check the buckle for any problems like not lock or not releasing when you push the button.
