I've got Barco, Odegaard, Muniz (and Isak) so I'm facing an even tougher dilemma than LR. However this video was good to help me to confirm that I'm going to suck it up and WC6. Whether 1FT or both FTs is the challenge. Ode -> Mbuemo is easy, but Muniz is the tougher decision, wait to hear on Pedro / DCL I guess, or just roll. As a Palace fan I'd love to consider Nketiah as well, but unclear yet if he will be a regular starter.

Screw WC 5. WC 6 much better. Unless you want to play like Lateriser taking punts n get lucky

Hi LR, I have a very similar team to yours ( have Porro, Saka, Eze instead of Salah, Munoz, Gordon). I also have 2 FTs. I’m very tempted to use a WC and get close to the Salah + Watkins draft you showed. This way, I’ll have 3FTs in GW7 to get Haaland back. Would you pull the trigger?

Hi Lateriser, in regards to the Jota vs Diaz debate I believe firstly that you are right that Slot does not really rate Darwin so he isn't in contention here so no worries there. As to who I would go for moving forward I would probably go for Diaz instead and I'll tell you why. Jota is very injury prone, inevitably it will happen especially if he is playing a lot of minutes both in the premier league and the Champions League aswell to which Diaz doesn't have that problem. If that does end up happening then the Liverpool front 3 moving forward would then be Diaz LW Gakpo CF Salah RW Nunez 1st sub. If Jota's injury concerns weren't an issue then I'd probably change my mind completely however because of this Diaz seems the most sensible and reliable option for me moving forward.

Salah is no longer Liverpools best player, he is not a talisman, he is getting less and less focal as he gets older. The only thing he has and others don’t is pens. Would not be surprised to see him benched at some point.

im planning to replace wissa with vardy/dcl this gw, and replace eze & diaz with saka & amad in gw6 or replace diaz with mbeumo and use the extra money to change lewis to saliba. any thoughts?

Cracker, thanks Pras. I'd like to hear your thoughts about the impact of the changes to the free transfers persisting through a wildcard. Does this change the way you approach a wildcard? Typically we would take a 1 week punt leading into it, but now it seems like a better bet to try and bank up a few before your wild card (Why spend FT's when you are about to wildcard?) Quick comment on 1 week punts ahead of Wildcard Pras. I may have this wrong but if you use one of your two you have the chance to punt the other one as you will still have one the other side of the wildcard. If you don’t use the second one, I believe that you will still only have one? I think FPL towers should be awarding all players an extra transfer through the wildcard to make it fair?

Luiz Diaz looks very likely to start in gw5 because he came off the bench, played 30min and did well against AC Milan.

J.Pedro not playing in either of the solid home fixtures is classic FPL (if it happens).

Great pod guys! Have a quick question. Would you use wildcard if you dont have Salah in your team? I currently have 2FTs. I can do Saka + Isak to Salah and DCL/ Vardy. Or I can create a good WC team without Haaland this week, get Salah, keep Saka and get Haaland for Salah in GW7 with 2 FTs (Ill have 3FTs then)
