Always thought a Pocahontas log ride would have been a good fit on Frontierland and there did used to be a small Pocahontas show at Disneys Animal Kingdom back in the day 👍

It's an indoor park with similar lay out to the Dungeons attractions with different rooms depicting different scenes while telling a story & creating small challenges, mainly aimed at families & younger children, but still fun for every Shrek fan

@@dinealone0 Because they'd be converting a beloved, iconic, and fan-favorite attraction all because of the movie it was based on. Plus, The Princess in the Frog actually underperformed in Japan. So it wouldn't make sense to replace the ride with an IP that's unpopular in that country.

@@Coast2Coaster I know. It's so weird. Why would they even make and release a pin of the ride if they're gonna get rid of the gift shop that it's associated with a month later? That doesn't seem to make sense.

From what I've heard, WDI is working on a replacement to propose to OLC, but it won't be Tiana's Bayou Adventure. The reason isn't bc of concerns about Tiana's popularity in Japan, but thematic reasons because there's already a New Orleans Square at the other side of the park and it wouldn't make much sense there would be two New Orleans themed areas separated from each other. It might possibly maintain a Western frontier theme, but there's zero information to confirm this. At least that's what I heard from someone who knows someone who knows someone. It may still be possible OLC will reject the idea and keep the ride as Splash though.
