Hi, I cant work out at all how to do 11 rows and end up with 16 stitches. I have worked the rows according to the pattern and followed the tutorial. When I have finished row 11, I have 12 single crochets plus 1 chain. What am I dong wrong? Also, in row 2 you say to do 2 single crochets in the last stitch. As there is only one single crochet at this point you appear to only on this row do two single crochets into the chain stitch but don't use it again until you start decreasing. Is that correct? I'm experienced at crochet but can't figure this out. Can you help please. x

Hey just to let you know that the tutorial video and the written pattern do not match. Some of the steps are missing and the number of stitches you need don’t add up to how many rows you have written. And the written haft diamond pattern is completely wrong. Not to be rude at all it’s beautiful vest but it was hard when all my pieces were coming out in different sizes.

AMAZING VIDEO!!! I love this pattern and have been trying to get it right for a few months now (determined beginner) but I keep getting stuck on a few parts of the diamond. I have a fairly neurotic brain so I benefit from very specific instructions lol. I have a few questions so this comment will probably have some edits. I've managed to get the triangle part down but as soon as I start decreasing it just doesn't look as good at the end. Like the corners are more rounded and the decreasing seems to have more rows than the initial increasing. Can't wait to try more of your videos (I'm looking at you fluffy sweater) but I cannot give up on this one yet! Any tips you have I'll be so grateful for!
