How about this idea, fighters start fighting at their actual weight 😲🤯

What do you think about the thai kratom culture and it being used in muay thai camps? Some of the fighters and trainers seemed hooked on it
@jamesnichol4 күн бұрын
I stay away from it, I haven't even tried it as I'm worried that I'd get addicted haha. Definitely common with fighters and trainers and just like other opioids it's very addictive. I'll stick with my caffeine addiction

@@jamesnichol Yeah I live in Thailand trained in a few gyms, including Bear your gym but I mainly live in Bangkok. I was shocked to see almost every gym the trainers and fighters drinking it after practice, even some fighters I've seen drink a bottle have some Thai energy drink then fight pro Muay Thai. Crazy stuff, best to stay away as I've been addicted to it too

Most “sports” drinks are filled with a bunch of garbage additives, sweeteners, ext. This was is much healthier for a fighter.

Nice video! As someone who is super active at night, but sedentary during the day, I noticed I would hit a huge wall of fatigue around noon after lunch. Like your fourth point, doing something lightly active every hour or so like a mobility routine, bodyweight exercise, or stretch, really helped keep my energy consistent during the day.

prolonged fasting has shown to increase testosterone level in many studies after a few days
@keshavrao212Ай бұрын
That's true, but it is not what you think it is, you see, testosterone is also an anti oxidant, which responds to oxidative stress and reduces it. When you have oxidative stress buildup, testosterone shoots up but it is only gonna act as an anti oxidative and not for masculine development which bind to androgen receptors or get converted into DHT. So, fasting is a great tool for weightloss, but that too is stress and you need WBC to cope up with stress, and WBC needs fat cells to generate it so it eats up the body fat to make way for WBC production and mitigate the stress caused by fasting. The best and healthiest way to loose fat is to eat high protein high fat and moderate carb diet.

I had a good libido in my early 30s and now in my late 30s I couldn't feel that raw power. I couldn't even manhandle those ho es like I used to do and it feels depressing. I need that old self

Why would anyone use fasting to build muscle? Didn't see or hear anybody talking about fasting as a muscle building tool, can't really see any valid point making this video..
@sanderwagenaar8787Ай бұрын
When people hear: more testosterone, they immediately think: more muscle. This is wrong however, there are much more aspects to muscle hypertrophy than free testosterone. Fasting has been gaining some traction again lately , with 3 day long fasts being promoted by Dana White for example. The message being promoted in this video is that, although it might cause a spike in some hormones associated with muscle hypertrophy, it is definitely not optimal.
